Their support team is so unhelpful. If you ever run into an issue, their first response is "there is no issue". If there is an issue that the team, acknowledges, the team will either take weeks to fix it, or will tell you that they aren't going to fix it. Given that I'm the accountant and not a lawyer I use the system for different purposes. Also I haven't worked with another similar system so I don't have anything to compare it to. Actionstep is useful for so many things...keeping detailed file notes, tracking progress on a matter, keeping track of who is who in a matter, but the part I like the best is being able to add forms with merge fields to Actionstep. Then, in one easy step you can generate documents with the correct fields! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a bit tricky to figure out how to format documents at first in order to generate them in Actionstep. The merge fields needed are pretty particular, but once you get it figured out, it works great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Actionstep allows my firm to organize and keep track of all clients. It is easy to track where we are in the legal process with each clients, and we can change the steps along the way. We can easily assign tasks for our team members, and with the billing feature, we can easily track payments and create invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is not always the most user-friendly when trying to customize the dashboard for different matter types. If I want to add a new table that would display client information on one type of matter, I find myself having to make this change via a convoluted means, or I am having to contact support.
