I love that BetterUnite can be used for every single stage of my events! They have a comprehensive list of features, my favorite being the easy check-in with tap-to-pay on our cellphones for guests to pre-register their cards. There are quite a few features that felt a little rough around the edges or not as customizable as my design team would have liked. While we were able to make everything work, we did have to find a few work arounds and when I shared the specific feedback with a team member, I got the response that "that's how it is". We love that we can integrate our donor management, event planning/execution, and now email marketing all in one place. I love the support team! Everyone I've worked with online and in person has been so kind, helpful, and professional. In terms of the software, I love how customizable our event pages are and I love how thorough the site is. BetterUnite thought of absolutely everything we could need to run a successful event. We just used BetterUnite for our first Gala & things could not have gone better. We are loving using BU not just as our event software but also as our Donor management system. Kirby Cathey has been incredibly helpful as we have implemented BU as a tool and she was also crucial in our Gala preparing and then the execution of the event itself - as she was the BU person present as a hired worker for our event. What we love about Betterunite is that everything thing we do for fund development is now under one umbrella. I appreciate BetterUnite for simplifying the ticketing, bidding, and auction processes for events, saving us from manual tracking. It's been a relief for our staff during event days, allowing us to concentrate on donor interactions. The customer support is excellent and provides timely responses. I find the payout reporting to be problematic because it complicates the reconciliation process with QuickBooks. The reports do not clearly break down what each cart and transaction contains, making it difficult to understand and track individual transactions effectively.
