I have been using Kasm for 12 months for our finance team. For a VDI solution, it's excellent, it integrates with windows and linux very easily. Most staff who are not completely IT literate find it very easy to use. On setup, implementing Kasm into your workplace is very easy, and the support team (customer support) are swift to answer any queries on their helpdesk. We use Kasm workspaces on a standalone server with the concurrent license option to provide acess to training environments and as secured platform for our sales team to access online assets. The standalone server has worked well aside from some configuration challenges to ensure each workspace has adequate resources. These issues were reasonably well documents although I did open a support ticket which was resolved quickly. Different users belong to groups and are automatically presented with the assets they need when logging in. This simplfies our deployment and minimizes the time it takes to roll out updates. We've customized the browser workspaces for each group so each of their required tabs are loaded and opened and they have shortcuts to all the items them might need. The automated upgrade script didn't work and after the reboot the server showed a non-sensical error message about not being online and we had to restore the server. It would be fantastic if they could offer Windows OS as part of their service. While I understand it’s not open-source, having it available would be valuable, especially for those conducting forensic investigations on the Windows platform. I'm really impressed with how easy it was to set up Workspaces and integrate it with Microsoft Identity. Since going live, we've experienced minimal issues with the servers, and the system's stability has been excellent. The user-friendly interface has also reduced the number of helpdesk tickets, making the overall experience smooth for both users and support teams. The volatility of this platform is a big advantage! You can have your personnal desktop everywhere you go as long as you have a computer with internet, you can also run tools that you may not want to install directly on your computer, or that are not really compatible (When you are using macOS for exemple) and the fact that the desktop session are throwable and temporary, make it really secure and the best working place for a cybersecurity enginneer ! I especially love to run Kali Linux on Kasm Workspace as you don't need to worry for anything or have to install Kali Linux everytime you need it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be awesome to have others OS avalaible such as Windows even if it's not easy to implement as it's not open-source, I think that it can add a big thing for Linux or macOS user to run Windows only application, or even for workspace environnement. And also, it may be great to make the network and security configuration easier, as if you want to isolate the network in each sessions, you need to go in advanced settings. One thing I wish was a bit different is the free tier. While I understand that the platform needs to make money, I do feel that the free tier could be a bit less restrictive.

That being said, I understand that the free tier is meant to give users a taste of what the platform has to offer, and it has definitely been useful in helping me determine if the paid version would be a good fit for my needs.
