There is no way to automate workflows, for instance, the document control section of a document, could automatically be filled with the gap between the present draft and the previous effective version, and if the user introduces the Document Change Request event that triggers the new draft, the system could validate if the request in the CR fits the changes in the draft, and feed the CR validation section with that info.

Other semi automated processes, like the design controls, are getting better, but the integration of the design controls and risk management is still unusable, since the risk code changes when a risk is evaluated after apply the mitigation methods, this is not ISO 13485 nor 14971 compliant Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For anyone running a paper based Quality Management System, and especially the controlled document management side of life, you know the massive amount of forms and trackers needed to control the life cycle of a document and quality event. A bi-yearly document set review would generate well over 300 separate files for me to fill, distribute, and manage! For document management, I got rid of all my forms for change control because the system takes care of that simply by how it's designed.

The system is also intuitive to use and the support team is very helpful, even sending complex questions to the dev team for input. Unfortunately as an academic/hospital type institution we have hundreds of individuals involved in regulated clinical trials, with a high turnover rate. Because of the seat-based fee structure, it wasn't feasible to allow everyone into the system and instead just the core QA team uses it. This does necessitate a hybrid approach for event management and document release and training, but the efficiencies gained in the QA team well make up for it. I have been using Qualio for over two years in my role as a Customer Service Agent, primarily for training purposes. One of the standout features of the platform is its simplicity and ease of use. I have recently started to use the Design Control module, and it's going to improve our Product Development processes no end. Everything will be far more efficient!

I can't seem to search in certain areas, such as my dashboard or the Templates. Also it would be nice if perhaps there was a place for cybersecurity related topics within the Design Control module. It seems like it was built more with hardware products in mind. For example there could be a CVSS scoring part of the risk analysis.

There is nothing specific I hate about qualio but one change that could be appreciated is it should allow admin to assign documents for user in a orderly manner. One of the best thing about qualio is its easyness. Document writing is very quick. When you write a procedure/policy/SOP/DOP anything, it looks like you are writing in the word document. It is that much easy.

Apart from that, it is very easy to track who has reviewed or approved.

the most worst thing I do not like about qualio is it does not remind the person that it is pending from him or her side to complete the taks. e.g. A procecure is assigned to an employee then he will get a mail once but suppose that employee forgets to complete it then he will not get any reminder mail to next day until the deadline is going to over.
