I don't have a *BSD system so I haven't tested it on these systems. There was a patch recently submitted through gitorious that fixes this actually, but the second patch he submitted was breaking things so I reject it for the moment. I'll accept the first part of his patch and that should fix this problem. Strange that two OpenBSD'ers would find the same problem in the same week.. ;-) http://gitorious.org/liblo/mainline/merge_requests/528 Steve |

It's obviously an include problem, but my system (OpenBSD 4.5) deffinitely does have all of the POSIX include files. I just guessed that what you're hinting at might be sys/types.h - which _is_there_ of course: $ ls -l /usr/include/sys/types.h -r--r--r-- 1 root bin 7625 Mar 16 2008 /usr/include/sys/types.h - but lo_types_internal does _not_ include it: #ifdef HAVE_SYS_SOCKET_H #include <sys/socket.h> #endif Changing that to #ifdef HAVE_SYS_SOCKET_H #include <sys/types.h> #include <sys/socket.h> #endif fixes things. Thanks! (So, should this change be incorporated into the tree?) Jan |

It tends to be called something like stdint.h or inttypes.h or something like that. - Steve |
