"AB Tasty: Innovative, Supportive, and My Go-To for Smarter A/B Testing"
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

AB Tasty keeps pushing experimentation forward. Always discovering new ways to make A/B testing smarter, faster, and more insightful. Their team is supportive, and genuinely customer-focused, which makes collaboration feel effortless.

I’ve tested several A/B testing tools over the years, but I always end up coming back to AB Tasty 😉 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

There’s little to dislike. If anything, I’d love to see more ways to get reliable insights from tests with smaller audiences that don’t reach standard statistical significance, though that’s a broader challenge across the entire experimentation field, not specific to AB Tasty. "Easy to use, fantastic support"
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

The flexibility of the platform, and the superb support are excellent. It took me a little while to understand how the wysiwyg worked but that's also because the nature of our website and how we've set it up, but when you know, you know. Setting up tests is super easy! Especially with the AI Copilot support - if you prompt it well, you have a test set up in a hot second.

We've set AB Tasty up to test on a variety of (landing) pages and as frequent as we can, so we're using AB Tasty on a weekly basis.

Also, their customer support is amazing. Not just the in-platform help you receive, but from our account manager and CSM we have the best possible help and any answers to our questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

It's an expensive tool. Implementation/integration for us was tricky, and the cross-domain tracking hasn't been great, though we've received a workable workaround now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A really valuable platform, even for non-techy organisations"
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

AB Tasty has been the best thing our team has invested in this year. If not for the tool itself, then for the support. I initially had apprehensions- I am used to testing tools but we aren't an e-commerce heavy platform, and as a charity we don't move at the same rate as other companies, but I was quickly delighted by the platform and felt that its showcasing completely matched its real-life capabilities. After the RSPB moved platforms we were left with a difficult to use decoupled CMS. While we were trying to optimise the website the devs were too busy trying to fix the core features, so we needed something that could help us test without an incredibly long backlog, and thats where AB Tasty came in. We are now able to use the live editor to test small and large design changes and showcase their results to the larger organisation, something I didn't find easy on any other testing platforms. We are also able to use the amazing component preset, such as the various email sign up modals, and test which ones are effective. This is great because we have minimal dev resource and our UX team doesn't have the time to create something like this from scratch. Its also added an unexpected fulfilling aspect to my job where I have been able to make changes on a stagnant website for the first time in years, and giving people small but effective changes and features they have wanted for a long time, without demanding any more resource.

While the tool is a USP in itself I would say I have been most impressed with the people and the way AB Tasty is run. I love that there are frequent in-person gatherings, and after attending the Experience Next conference yesterday I was left impressed and also inspired about what tests we could try next, especially after watching the Merkle presentation and thinking about how AI can help the RSPB. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the whole thing organised to a T. Conferences can often be draining but Experience Next was organised with a great balance of talks, networking and also fun, so I left after having really enjoyed myself. I also think the way our account managers Jordan and Raj have structured our time with AB Tasty to be really effective, but also thoughtful to how the RSPB works. Our team recently got restructured and we felt there was a lot of understanding and patience on AB Tasty's part while we dealt with the staff shortage, and while we were waiting for things to move forward Jordan and Raj made an effort to fill our meeting times with something that was helpful to us, for example often just letting us ask basic questions while we were still getting to know the software and giving us a demonstration on how it works, how we could solve a problem etc. So while we could have been stuck in limbo, the support from the staff has helped us feel like we are still moving along Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

When we first got AB Tasty we found the refreshing of the live editor a little confusing- it appeared showing what looked like the regular site and with no editor panels, then after a few seconds it refreshes itself with the panels. We thought on numerous occasions that the editor simply just didnt work- however this is a small issue and we got used to it quickly. Nothing that chatting with our account managers didn't solve

Sometimes I would like to use an AB Tasty component e.g a banner and edit it, it would be great if I could somehow remove the classes and presets so I can look at the pure CSS and HTML, although this could be possible and I just don't know how. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A comprehensive and intuitive tool"
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

The platform is intuitive and allows for the creation of numerous patches and A/B tests independently. Conversely, the support remains highly available if a little help is needed with certain configurations. Our CSM's support also allows us to quickly learn about the new features offered by the platform, share relevant user cases based on our issues and needs, and refine our A/B testing roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

We are sometimes a bit limited in developing a business-side test due to a lack of knowledge in code/HTML, but with the new features including AI, this should allow us to go even further in autonomy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A complete, user-friendly and constantly evolving tool"
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

What I like most about AB Tasty is the combination of several strengths : the Copilot tool, which helps us quickly set up our A/B tests, the ease of use of the visual editor, and the great support from our Customer Success Manager. I also appreciate the integration with Contentsquare, which makes analyzing results much easier. The platform is constantly evolving with new and useful features. I've been using it for over 3 years now and I’m still very satisfied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

Sometimes we face difficulties when setting up more complex tests, but the online support team is always responsive and helps us find solutions quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use testing platform, with easy ability to produce results."
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

AB Tasty is really easy to implement and use day-to-day. It allows us to launch tests quickly across multiple areas of the site without heavy development involvement. We have been able to use alot of the out of the box library features, but also, build much more complex and in depth tested by writing code.

The reporting suite is better than other testing platforms I have used, and you are able to add in customer tracking, as well as push into GA and integrate with other tools you may have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

Although the reporting is easy, if you do want deeper analysis then the ability to use the push into GA, does make it easier, it took a little while to understand some of the reporting capabilities, and method of reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Impressive tool with excellent customer service"
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

Great account management and customer support service - always on hand to assist with queries or help brainstorm ideas for new experiments in quarterly sessions.

The client-side tool is really sophisticated and customisable with a lot of different options for setting up AB tests easily. Particularly like the fact that there are already loads of widgets and things that you can use straight away in your own AB tests. Definitely great for Marketers who want to setup tests quickly.

I like the integration with GA4 - it's always been easy to set this up and push data into GA/BigQuery.

EmotionsAI looks really cool and seems like a natural next-step in the evolution towards AI-led experimentation.

Our developers seem to have found it pretty straightforward and became really comfortable setting up server-side tests during our testing roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

I' have never been a massive fan of the fact that there have traditionally been two separate tools for client & server side AB tests and we needed to log into different platforms in order to review AB test performance and get info like the experiment IDs.

Similarly, I felt like the server-side reporting wasn't quite as polished as the client-side reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good experience with experimentation and content persoanlisation"
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

The platform has a very intuitive interface, so setting up tests is as easy as you website architecture allows you to. The visual editor is reliable but their strength lies in the widgets that tend to be quite stable to use for non-technical folks.

It is easy to implement tracking from within the tool and there are many options available, especially data layer based tracking.

I really like their support where we can chat with experts to get quick clarifications on issues. This is over and above a dedicated account manager to help us get the optimal benefit out of the tool.

Also, their product development backlog is client feedback driven and useful features are prioritized well.

Access to technical solution managers to get the best out of the tool is another plus.

They also focus on allowing us to integrate to various other tools and data warehouses which is a key feature needed in any good experimentation tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

While the editor is user-friendly, setting up more complex experiments (such as server-side testing or advanced targeting) still requires technical expertise. The visual editor also struggles with React-based sites that use dynamic class names, which limits its reliability in those cases.

Targeting options could be more cohesive. For example, it’s not currently possible to build audiences using combinations of purchase attributes such as multiple brands or purchase types. A native product feed with product details built into the experimentation platform would be a great addition. At the moment, this functionality is only available within their merchandising and recommendations module, which means experimentation users miss out on that flexibility. "A flexible and intuitive experimentation platform, with excellent CSM's and an extensive community."
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

- Their onboarding and client management is top class, always on hand to provide support when needed.

- The tool itself is easy to use, and provides all of the means of testing you would expect from a market leading experimentation & personalisation tool.

- AB Tasty also has a great community with their clients, with plenty of conferences and events to knowledge share and upskill. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

If I had to be picky, I'd say that having certain features only available with additional integration slowed us down from using the tool effectively in the early stages (e.g. the ability to target certain customer segments like cart abandoners, or having additional tags fire to be able to track purchases & revenue etc.), if these came as part of the initial onboarding we'd be using the tool more effectively from day one, but that's being super picky! "Has a lot of features, data layer is great for targeting, super user friendly for non-coders."
What do you like best about AB Tasty?

I like the visual editor, the ability to add in targeting by data layer elements, QA mode, and the ease of setting up client side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AB Tasty?

Sometimes the visual editor can be buggy/not load. There is a limitation where it is reliant on cookies but there's not much to be done there. I wish the menu drop down with the accounts was a bit bigger as we manage multiple retailer checkouts. We are a bit unique in that sense. Also sending push events to our analytics tool (Looker) was a nightmare and we had to can it. But we use the dashboards reporting which has been enough. It would just be more convenient to scale this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
