"Great analytics tool to understand customer behavior, but it's very easy to use"
What do you like best about Contentsquare?

It has been just half a year since we started using Contentsquare, we already got many insights from this great tool. Contentsquare has many great modules. CS LIVE allows quick and easy analysis in the browser, so I think it's easy to use even for analysis beginners.

Also, among many great features, journey analysis and zoning analysis in paticular are my favorite. These modules are very useful for understanding customer behavior, which has been difficult to analyze with other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

In journey analsys, page comparator, zoning analysis, we can compare the data under two condition (different device type, date, segments...), it would be better if we could compare more than three at a time, because for me, sometimes I want to compare more than three at a time. What do you like best about Contentsquare?

I use Contentsquare on the daily. It is a great tool for not only just quick checks but also for more in-depth analysis that requires using a combination of the functionality Contentsquare provides. What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

- builing mappings and keeping those up to date (could it be something that happens automatically?)

What do you like best about Contentsquare?

All of it. Without Contentsquare we would continue to understand some of the data including the 'what' however with it we now understand 'why', why do customers behave in the way they do and target very specific segments of users.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

It would be great to have some more focus in training and analysis around analysis context. Getting the methodology is key however analysis context setting is so important and spending 20-30 mins on this and how to build out segments correctly would be so valuable. ContentSquare provides a unique way of visualising user behavior that makes identifying customer pain points during their journey much easier.

What do you like best about Contentsquare?

I have been using the Contentsquare platform for over 10 months, I have found it to be very user-friendly and easy to navigate around, all the information you need is easily available from the dashboard.

The Contentsquare team provided a first-class onboarding experience it was the best! They continue to provide outstanding ongoing support and advice for both our Digital and Development Teams.

The CS University offers basic and expert certification and flash training videos, which is a fantastic way to improve your continuous learning and gain even more insights from the platform.

The Zoning Analysis Feature enabled us to optimise our homepage which delivered +200% increase conversion rate of banner clicks, in the 1st month of the CS platform implementation. Performance Analysis also provided valuable benchmark insights for future promotional marketing campaigns.

Another excellent feature of Contentsquare is the Alerts Function to monitor site performance with actionable KPI metrics. The Page Comparator Export Data function is also wonderful way to save metrics in a spreadsheet. The tool also provided valuable benchmark insights for future promotional marketing campaigns.

I have received an award for CS Worldwide Quarterly Champion Q4 2022 and Q1 2023 for being an active platform user, demonstrating how much I enjoy using the platform to get the best insights to contribute to the continued business success.

Overall Contentsquare is an excellent CRO and analytical platform that has helped our business to understand our user behaviour better, using real website data improving our customer journeys and increasing conversions. I would highly recommend it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

The only thing I do not like is in workspaces when creating line chart widgets, the number of segments you can choose and displayed on your chart is limited. It would be great to have the option to include more to compare all our traffic channels on one chart, for example if we currently choose five segments it is displayed over two charts. Really appreciate the feedback on line charts in workspaces too. We've passed it on to our Product Managers. They are already looking for the best ways to extend the number of series that can be displayed in the dashboard widget while still keeping the line chart easy to read and accessible.

The most tricky part there is fitting in the legend because every line in these charts can have its unique combination of metric, segment, and device. That is super powerful for insights. But it requires using some real estate on the dashboard for the legend so our users see exactly what each line represents.

Meanwhile, you could take advantage of our data exports and connectors to Looker (Google Data) Studio maybe to help with additional custom reporting options while we work on this.

What do you like best about Contentsquare?

It is just a couple of months since we started leveraging Contentsquare in our day-to-day activities, but we are already seeing a solid improvement in our CX analytics stream. The GA4 integration is still missing and this is impacting the level of detail that we can reach within our analysis on Contentsquare. We still need to leverage other tools to have the full picture. Thanks so much for the great review! So glad for the fast start. In regards to GA4, our Product Team is indeed working with Google to recreate the tight product-level integration that Contentsquare has offered for GA Universal. GA4 works differently, however, and Segments in GA4 are not at all what they used to be GAU. So, Google has given us a different object to integrate with. Beta is planned for later this year.

What do you like best about Contentsquare?

One of the best things i like about Contensquare is the user-friendly interface - it makes it easy for even the most technologically challenged users to navigate and find the information they need. The dashboard is visually appealing and provides an intuitive layout for your data and insight needs.

Another great feature of Contensquare is the depth of data it provides. It offers a comprehensive view of zoning, component performance with actionable KPI metrics, and a comparison tool. It also provides detailed information on consumer journeys, such as where they come in, where they go, and where they exit.

In addition to its robust data analysis capabilities, Contentsquare offers a variety of customizable reports, known as "workspaces," that make it easy to share insights with my team members. These reports can be tailored to focus on specific metrics or timeframes, which saves time and ensures that everyone is on the same page.

One of the standout features of this tool is its ability to track and analyze consumer journeys. With its journey analysis, you can see exactly how users move through their website, identify any roadblocks or obstacles, and make improvements to increase conversions.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

The only thing I don't like is the Journey Analysis graphic itself is a bit confusing when first learning. I think there could be a better way to show that data instead of a bunch of rings visually. Sharing a graphic like that with other folks is nearly impossible because they don't understand what they're looking at. I think it can be updated to be something more visually appealing that anyone on a team, regardless of their knowledge of analytics, could look at and understand. I totally hear you on the feedback about Journey Analysis, both its value and opportunities for visualization. The Sunburst diagram with its noise-reduction (via Mapping) is kind of an ingenious way to visualize all customer flow top-down. I like to say that it enables "journey discovery". It's great for understanding users and revealing unexpected journeys e.g. looping. On the other hand, it is also as you say, though. One needs to be told how to read it to understand it.

Have you also had the chance to try the funnels and our new path charts for visualizing specific processes? The path charts are especially good at visualizing journeys between funnel steps in a Sankey type diagram. So, we are hoping that this provides our users with the best of both, i.e. Sunburst for journey discovery and Sankey for journey troubleshooting. Please keep the feedback coming!

What do you like best about Contentsquare?

The barrier of entry is surprisingly low. After completing the fundamentals you are ready to analyze the basics of the website. However, the low entry barrier does not mean that the total depth is suffering from it. Anything is possible within Contentsquare, with every analysis bringing new challenges and showing new possibilities. The export function makes it easy to present to people less familiar with the software and the integrations make it perfect for A/B test analyses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Contentsquare?

The loading times can be a bit annoying at times. It's understandable if you look at everything that needs to be processed, but I've definitely worked with faster software before.
