What do you like best about StackAdapt?

The customer support team was responsive, and account management made a genuine effort to assist us throughout the test. Despite their efforts, the results did not meet expectations, and we ultimately found better efficiency and ROI with other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StackAdapt?

We tested StackAdapt for one month to compare results with Mountain and Google. During this time, we found that CPCs were consistently 3–4x higher than on other platforms, making it difficult to achieve an efficient return on spend. "Never expected an advertising platform to have such great customer support, plus a killer DSP"
What do you like best about StackAdapt?

StackAdapt is a powerful platform on its own, but it's the customer service that takes it to the next level. We are new to the platform after having experience with The Trade Desk and Google, but this DSP is better on both the platform level (ease of use) and especially the customer service level. They gave us dedicated reps from the start despite being totally new, and helped us through every step of campaign planning to activation to reporting and optimization. Can't say enough good about their model - it's working well and we're new customers but extremely happy. We use it daily now and love how easy reporting is. We're also able to seamlessly integrate with Looker Studio which has been a huge positive. Implementation of the platform was great as we got up and running with little effort due to their Universal Pixel and support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StackAdapt?

Their internal documentation can be lacking sometimes, which causes the need to speak to someone in person about it - which can take some time. Unless you're super experienced with DSPs, you'll probably have some questions about inventory sizes, what different platform functions do, etc. - which you can normally find answers for, but technical questions require a person on their side to give an answer to you. What do you like best about StackAdapt?

While we are set up as a self-serve account, we still work with fantastic account managers who are supportive and helpful for any request that we bring to them. We work with very specific targeting parameters for many of our accounts, and StackAdapt is one of, if not the only platform that has been able to meet all of them. The platform itself is user friendly and easy to use, and setup and training were both straightforward. Campaigns can be monitored and updates can be made in real time to optimize performance.

We've also found that StackAdapt drives much better quality traffic to our landing pages. We see more backend engagement and less traffic from junk or MFA sites. StackAdapt is also consistently updating their features and offerings, adding new partnerships and opportunities based on feedback from users.

What do you dislike about StackAdapt?

We have found that StackAdapt does have somewhat higher CPM's that some other platforms. However, since there is no retainer associated with using StackAdapt, and the traffic itself is higher quality, we feel that it balances out.

StackAdapt has always provided great full-service programmatic offerings to myself and my team, but it's their team's continually optimal white-glove service that truly sets them apart. Our StackAdapt partners have consistently remained on top of not only our needs, but also the changing landscape for their product and our clients' various industries. What do you dislike about StackAdapt?

Like all programmatic offerings, there is always a level of reporting that can be lacking at times. Generally, StackAdapt's report capabilities are fantastic, but there are inevitably a few deeper insights that we aren't able to glean from StackAdapt's platform (DOOH final reported locations and POPs, CTV program reporting, etc). The extensive reach and variety of available ad types on StackAdapt make it ideal for B2B campaigns targeting diverse audiences. The managed services team is consistently friendly, professional, and goes beyond expectations to ease our workload and aid onboarding and implementation as well as providing strategic guidance and campaign optimisations. There is a noticeable push for higher ad spends, which can be challenging for clients with tighter budgets or specific ROI expectations. Having more flexible options and recommendations tailored for smaller budgets would help make StackAdapt more accessible to the full range of clients we support. What do you like best about StackAdapt?

What do you dislike about StackAdapt?

We sometimes have issues with our pixels, is and is tough to get help from support to figure out the issue. I also don't like that I can't separate out billing invoices by client for their co-op campaigns where I need to provide the platform spend. StackAdapt has the most hands-on and supportive account managers I’ve ever worked with. As a small team, this level of support makes a huge difference, far exceeding what I’ve experienced with other DSPs.

Their audience solutions are outstanding, particularly for B2B clients, which sets them apart from competitors. Additionally, their reporting capabilities, including detailed conversion journey reports, provide valuable insights that enable us to make more informed decisions.
