"Seamless Integration, Powerful Insights"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I appreciate the seamless integration of Tableau with Salesforce, which has significantly improved our reporting capabilities. The platform's ability to provide a 360-degree overview of customer data is extremely beneficial for gaining insights. I also found the initial setup to be quite seamless after overcoming the learning curve, making it easy to embed into our existing systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I find that making integration with datasets could be easier, and there should be a more streamlined experience in creating and handling datasets within Tableau. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best-in-Class Data Visualization with a Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau sets the standard for interactive data visualization. I love how easy it is to turn complex datasets into clear, beautiful dashboards and share insights with teams. The drag-and-drop interface is powerful once you get used to it, and the variety of charts, filters, and customization options is unmatched. The community support and resources are also huge plus points — there’s a forum or tutorial for almost any problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Tableau can be overwhelming for beginners — building advanced dashboards requires time and practice. Performance sometimes slows down with large datasets or complex calculations. The licensing cost can be high for small teams or individual users, and version compatibility between Tableau Desktop and Server sometimes causes minor headaches. "Transformative Tool with Challenging Query Setup"
What do you like best about Tableau?

I find the reports generated by Tableau incredibly helpful, especially for my financial and automotive clients, as they organize data excellently. Building dashboards is a standout feature—it transforms raw data into superbly informative visualizations that my entire organization appreciates. Additionally, Tableau's user-friendly nature assures me of its value, making it a definite purchase again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I find writing the queries in Tableau challenging, particularly when pulling data from SQL. Automating query writing would significantly improve my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tableau - Easy way of Automated Reporting"
What do you like best about Tableau?

The ease of creating different Visuals either through drag or drop, or automatic setups. Getting data in a handy way every day helps a lot in monitoring as well as analysing different Key metrics. I use the same to create reports for the executives on a very frequent basis and at the same time am able to easily implement and make changes on the go! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Consitional formatting is a bit difficult in tableau, I have to individually change for each row and can't have selective rows/conditions integrated into it. Excel provides this in a better way. Also, Copy pasting data from Tableau is not doable, which restrics the user to have to download the entire piece of data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Versatile and ready for any company, tech stack, or user"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Because of the broad spectrum of out-of-the-box tools like Prep or Licensed Data Management, as well as the MANY integrations with popular (or not-so-popular) third party tools, Tableau can seamlessly integrate into any workflow, regardless of how complex, old school, minimal, or basic your data pipeline might be.

Additionally, the community of users is a built-in support network for your analysts. If you don’t have an in-house expert on a particular topic, community user groups, and the new slack workspace are great ways to find insight on how to approach different topics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

There isn’t much to dislike. When you are completely integrated with Tableau, down servers or other tech hiccups can really halt your workflow, but that is the case with any tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tableau No Longer Tab-Slow"
What do you like best about Tableau?

All of the insightful data it provides to help me be able to better manage my Book of Business. It is easy to use, once you get through an inital learning process, which is largely due to SO MANY great features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

I used to dislike how incredibly slow the loading time was, however, I've noticed how much this has improved - it's no longer Tab-Slow! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Visualizations and Versatility, but High Costs and Performance Issues"
What do you like best about Tableau?

Tableau offers excellent visualization capabilities and features an intuitive drag-and-drop interface that makes it easy to use. In my experience, it is more advanced than Salesforce dashboards. Additionally, Tableau can connect to a wide range of large and diverse data sources, which adds to its versatility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

As is often the case with Salesforce products, the add-ons tend to be expensive, and I find the licensing fees to be quite high. Additionally, accessing advanced features usually requires an administrator with significant expertise in Tableau to set everything up properly.

Lastly, when working with large datasets, I believe the performance could be improved, especially when compared to similar solutions in the industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tableau user experience"
What do you like best about Tableau?

1. Easy to Use, Even for Beginners:

Tableau has a drag-and-drop interface, which means you don’t need to be a coding expert to create beautiful charts and dashboards.

You can quickly connect to data, choose what you want to see, and Tableau does the hard work of building the visuals.

2. Beautiful Visualizations:

Tableau makes it easy to create interactive and eye-catching graphs, maps, and dashboards.

The visuals are clean and professional, making it easier to tell stories with your data.

3. Fast Data Analysis:

With Tableau, you can explore large datasets quickly.

You can filter, sort, and drill down into your data in real-time, which helps you find insights much faster than using spreadsheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

What I Dislike About Tableau –

Tableau can be quite expensive, especially for small businesses or individuals. The licensing fees for Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server add up quickly.

While basic visualizations are easy, more advanced analytics, calculations, or customizations can be tricky and require learning Tableau’s specific formulas and logic.

Tableau can sometimes be slow or laggy when working with very large datasets or complex dashboards, unless you have powerful hardware or optimize your data sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""Tableau: A Game-Changer for Dashboards"
What do you like best about Tableau?

What I like best about Tableau is how effortlessly it turns raw data into meaningful visuals. Even without complex coding, I can build interactive dashboards that actually help in understanding patterns and making faster decisions. The flexibility with different data sources is a big plus too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

While Tableau is powerful, it can sometimes feel a bit heavy when working with very large datasets. Also, some features—like advanced calculations or formatting—have a bit of a learning curve and could be more user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tableau?

I have all data i need about my previous performance and next weeks in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tableau?

Nothing to be disliked but I’d rather be happy if Tableau can provide me forecasts for the future performance based on the previous performance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
