What do you like best about Trainual?

Ease of the Trainual platform. We have programmed the Horizon Field Guide which provides electronic training to all Team Members. We recently upgraded our subscription and added the premium courses Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

The ability to add an expiration date to a premium course (ie: heat exposure we assigned for the months of July and August, but unable to set 8/31 as the expiration date). This results in manually adding specific training courses as use of the groups will not allow this training to end. The second challenge is the ability to delete the training that is auto assigned to me as the administrator assigning the training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Trainual?

It is a well thought out spiderweb of information, connecting responsibilities and duties to how to do them, organized in a way that is useful, managed well and easy to find. The management of the processes, with scheduled reviews, content feedback feature and ownership makes it easy for us to get our information into the system and implement quickly with our staff. The support of Trainual has been excellent and their reply timeline is quick and efficient. We are looking forward to making Trainual a regular part of our daily business model. What do you like best about Trainual?

The best part for me about Trainual is the thought and planning they have obviously put into their implementation process. The implementation specialist we worked with listened closely to our 'story' and provided us with the direction and support that met our needs without overwhelming us. The format of the training was logical and easy to follow. I especially appreciated the immediate follow up emails detailing what we reviewed and describing the next steps. What do you like best about Trainual?

Trainual allows me to create systems, and it is systems that make everything easier. The options within Trainual allow me to make it "my own" by creating groups and subjects and organizing the content.

One of the best parts is that our team "bought in" to using it and the users love it! Easy to find the information and training they are using it for. Someone on the team is in the system daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

Once I had the system designed and populated there have been no real downsides. The work has to go in on the front end learning the system and some trial and error on setting it up the way you ultimately want it to work and your purpose for using it in the first place. That's true of any new system and Trainual isn't immune to it. The training videos do make the process easier as well as the direct support I received from the support group. What do you like best about Trainual?

Honestly? I like how easy Trainual is to use when creating content for employees to review for training and on-boarding. The set up is easy to follow and Trainual provides multiple ways and resources to help you get started with creating a strong library of trainings for your organization. Their customer service is top notch and the on-boarding specialist who helped us set everything up was responsive when we had questions.

I really like how I can hyperlink to previous trainings, such as our core values, throughout the other trainings that I have created. This really helps with building our brand and integrating our mission and vision throughout our trainings and on-boarding sessions.

It is also really easy to integrate pictures, funny GIFs (to lighten the training mood), and videos to boost the ways in which our trainings can reach their intended audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trainual?

My only dislikes of Trainual are around formatting. There is no copy and paste feature and and the system defaults often to preset conditions such as font and size. I spend more time than I would like playing around with these features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Trainual shines with its sleek user interface, intuitive format, and easy-to-navigate features, making it a breeze to use for creating and managing training content. I also love the flexibility to add pictures and customize formatting, allowing for visually engaging and tailored materials. What do you dislike about Trainual?

While Trainual offers solid functionality, its formatting options fall short of being truly user-friendly. For instance, the inability to copy formatting, such as applying bold text with a specific HEX color, is frustrating—I have to manually input it each time, which slows down the process. Additionally, the content filtering options feel limited and could use more variety to better meet user needs. Most disappointingly, the reporting feature misses the mark. The tabular format lacks visual appeal, and graphical reports would significantly improve usability and insight delivery. These areas need refinement to match Trainual’s otherwise strong offerings. As the Education and Development Specialist for a multi-location hospitality company, I’ve had the pleasure of using Trainual as our go-to platform for onboarding, SOP management, and leadership development. What sets Trainual apart is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is. It’s incredibly easy to create, update, and assign content across departments—which is essential when you're managing multiple teams in different states.

One of my favorite features is Trainual U. It’s an outstanding learning hub packed with tutorials and feature deep-dives that help you maximize the platform’s full potential. Whether it’s learning about new integrations or brushing up on features I haven’t used in a while, Trainual U keeps me sharp and ensures our team is getting the most out of the system.

The customer support experience is also top-notch. Any time I’ve reached out, I’ve received a same-day response with clear, realistic timelines and a genuine sense of urgency. What do you like best about Trainual?

There are several aspects of Trainual that are helpful: Search feature, Quizzes within SOP's, ease of use, Trainual University, Customer Support, Organization. I could go on. My favorite part is taking something that is typically a less than thrilling situation (learning an SOP for the first time or relearning an SOP) and makes it interactive and fun. We are a printing company and we decided to onboard Trainual to help keep all of our SOP's in a location that was easily accessible to the team and for us to update as needed. What would have taken time to dig through files and find an SOP, update it, resend it out to the team now takes just a few clicks and it even notifies the team of changes at the click of a button. What do you dislike about Trainual?
