"Robust project management platform"
What do you like best about Wrike?

As I've become more of a process and project manager, my appreciation for Wrike's flexibility has grown significantly. Wrike can support large, multi-layered, long-term projects and ticket or task management with the same degree of effectiveness. The workflows and search functionality are unparalleled. I love the integrations with Gmail and Slack, it makes work really seamless. My team is hybrid and we use Wrike everyday, it is super easy to use and it keeps us organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

I am part of an enterprise account, it is my understanding that pricing/per user is a little stiff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effective for some projects, if it is used correctly."
What do you like best about Wrike?

Once a project is created, it can serve as a template for future projects with similar requirements. This allows for easy replication, saving time and ensuring consistency in structure, configuration, and workflows across multiple projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The system is overly complex and not user-friendly, making it difficult to work with on a day-to-day basis. Successful use requires that everyone involved in the project has at least a foundational understanding of the software, which can be a barrier to collaboration and efficiency. While the software may be well-suited to certain types of projects, in other cases it can actually complicate management and hinder progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Karilla Dyer of Wrike

Thank you for sharing your honest experience with Wrike — your insights are incredibly valuable. I’m glad to hear you appreciate the power of using project templates to save time and maintain consistency across your work. That’s one of the strengths we’re proud of!

I also understand how the complexity of a tool like Wrike can feel overwhelming, especially when everyone on the team isn’t fully familiar with the system. Getting the whole team comfortable and aligned is definitely a challenge, but it’s one we’re committed to helping you overcome. Wrike’s flexibility means it can adapt to a wide range of project types and team needs, and with the right support and training, it can actually simplify workflows rather than complicate them.

If it’s helpful, there are many resources available—from tailored onboarding sessions to role-specific training and best practice guides—that can empower your team to get more comfortable and efficient with the platform. Also, sometimes small adjustments in setting up dependencies or notifications can make a big difference in minimizing disruptions and improving clarity around timelines.

Your feedback highlights real opportunities for us to improve how teams adopt and use Wrike daily. If you’d like, I’d be happy to help connect you with Wrike support or advocacy resources to explore ways to ease these challenges and help your team unlock even more value from the platform.

Thank you again for your candidness and for being part of the Wrike community.
