"Why our Marketing team loves Hive for project intake and management"
What do you like best about Hive?

Our marketing team has been using Hive for several years now, and it's completely transformed the way we ingest intake requests and manage our projects across different areas of marketing. From the beginning, Hive has streamlined our workflow, made communication more efficient, and given us a clear view of our priorities and deadlines.

One of our favorite features is the customizable intake forms. They've made it so much easier for internal partners to submit project requests in a structured, consistent way. We no longer waste time chasing down missing details or deciphering vague requests. We get everything we need now in one form!

Hive’s task management and project views are incredibly flexible. We can easily toggle between Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and calendar views depending on what the project calls for. Plus, the ability to assign subtasks, attach documents, and track approvals in one platform has saved us from countless emails and status meetings.

We also love the collaborative features, like built-in messaging and proofing tools, which make cross-functional teamwork feel seamless.

What do you dislike about Hive?

While Hive is a robust platform, teams may encounter occasional bugs or performance hiccups, especially when managing high volumes of tasks or large-scale campaigns. What do you like best about Hive?

Maintaining multiple teams, projects, and deadlines becomes swift with the daily-driver, Hive, as our PM (Project Management) tool. It is a great tool to manage multiple larger projects and teams. It streamlines tasks and work among different teams and makes marketing output much higher by managing each small task better. What do you like best about Hive?

Hive is keeping everything in one place, there is no need to move between different tools to manage tasks, communication with your team and to check project timelines, you can find everything under Hive. What do you like best about Hive?

Hive really helps our team stay organized on many different projects. We are a large team about 21 people working on different campuses. Hive keeps us synced together and on time as if we were all in the same office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We wish Hive had a way to sync with our exchange calendars. There are certain aspects of our work that are date and time sensitive and we need to put these events in our calendars. "Exceptionally Well-Rounded Platform for Project / Task Management - From Beginner to Expert!"
What do you like best about Hive?

After acquiring and implementing several competing platforms, I was finally able to land on Hive as my long-term solution!

• The standard platform is exceptionally easy to implement, with the flexibility to then configure on and engagement-by-engagement basis in order to meet the unique needs of both my organization and my various clients.

• The ability to customize key fields - like Statuses, Dates, Milestones, and more - allow me to set up an effective management solution which is easily understood by both internal and external resources alike.

• The recently implemented Dashboards allow for a 'macro view' of all of my current engagements and clients - allowing me to quickly snapshot overall status and areas where tasks might be drifting.

• Integrating the Hive platform with a number of other applications my organization leverages - like QuickBooks, MailChimp, Website Development Platforms, Gmail / Outlook, and others - removes me from the day-to-day administration of the platform and automates my repetitive tasks.

• With a browser-based version, a desktop version, and a tablet/mobile version of the Hive platform, it allows for to consistently use Hive across all form factors used within my business - whereby tasks and critical actions are rarely, if ever, missed.

Personally, I keep Hive open on all of my devices at all times - and I practically live in it seven days a week!

Lastly, and equally as important, Hive provides an open forum for Product Development Feedback, Issue Reporting and Issue Resolution, and provide both online FAQs and Knowledge Repositories as well as knowledgable team members if you cannot find the solutions you're looking for!

Genuinely, I recommend Hive to all of my clients! I do not see a time in the future where my business will not leverage this platform for managing the most critical aspects of my consulting organization! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hive?

Frankly, there is very little I dislike about Hive.

In fairness, while Hive is a somewhat new platform in the marketplace, they more than make up for it in quickly cycling through updates and enhancements to their base solution. The transparency they provide in both issues and product roadmap provides clarity and understanding as to the areas where growth will be occurring.

As with most platforms, there are always 'growing pains' associated with their on-going development. However, the proverbial 'juice' is absolutely worth the 'squeeze'. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hive?

The ability to send emails right from the ticket. The various views to see how projects are coming along are fantastic. I can look at what my co-workers are working on and jump in to help if I have free time. The view of my actions allows me to handle my workload for the day more efficiently. I like the ability to link emails to tickets. I love that there are templates and notes that you can use. The ability to make projects and move tickets from project to project is seamless. The ability to assign multiple users to a ticket is great. The ability to add attachments to the tickets is very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hive?

I would like a little more customization. The ability to change our dashboard to match company colors would be nice. The ability to add colors or themes to projects to determine what they are at a glance would be nice. Also the ability to collapse description fields would be a welcome addition.
