What do you like best about Connecteam?

Connecteam is a great app that offers a lot of different features. I mainly use it for keeping vacation time and sick leave for our employees. It is very easy and user friendly, each of our employees have it downloaded on their phone and when they need to request a vacation time/sick time they use the app. Immediately the request gets submitted for approval and after the approval the vacation/sick time balance gets automatically updated! There are so many other great features like chat between employees, creating and RSVP for events, timesheets, clock in and clock out, GPS tracking. What do you like best about Connecteam?

Connecteam has been absolutely life-changing for my business. From the way I used to do things, to now, I honestly have no idea how I did it. I would text each staff member their hours individually, taking up precious extra time from my already non-stop life. However, with Connecteam, and its ease of implementation into my businesses operations, it was the perfect software. My team and I use the software every day, with its large numbers of features, whether it be time-off requests, or time clocks, the software never stops being used. With its easy integration into my business, I couldn't have asked for anything more! Additionally, their Customer Support are superstars, always answering any of my requests at the click of a button, in a timely manner, no matter the questions complexity. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

The only downside of using Connecteam is moving anything that you used to write on paper, to online! Although it may take some time to get used to this change in processes, I cannot fault Connecteam in any way - they have saved my business and I so much time.

Even though it took time to get used to, it cannot be faulted in any other way, and now, I can easily pull up any information I need about my staff at the click of a button, rather than previously having to go home and look through paper records - life changing! What do you like best about Connecteam?

The most beneficial part of Connecteams for us has been the clock in/out asset. Inevitably someone will forget to clock in or out but the app allows them to edit their times and I can go in to approve those changes. I have been using the schedule feature with just a couple staff and it has proven very useful, especially the ability to sync with Google and Apple Calendars! What do you dislike about Connecteam?

There is nothing I have found that dislike about Connecteam however it does feel a bit overwhelming at first glance. There are SO many features that I wonder if I'll ever use it to its full potential; if you have time to dedicate to training yourself on the system I think it could be an incredible tool. It is a slow transition for some things like forming new habits of messaging within the app instead of an outside group chat (old habits die hard!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Connecteam?

Connecteam has been a lifesaver in terms of rostering, storing staff information, and managing staff overall. With its easy-to-use user interface and an extremely easy-to-integrate system with my current workflow, by simply adding employee phone numbers or emails, I couldn't have asked for better employee management software. All of my staff use Connecteam to receive their rosters each week, as well as view and be reminded of their shifts each and every day, as well as the Management Team, all being on the same page, in terms of unavailability and schedule changes. Further, when I first started with Connecteam, their Customer Support Team was amazing at assisting me in implementing their solution to replace my old paper rostering system and make rostering easier and more efficient! Finally, the customisation abilities that you have with Connecteam are endless - from adding your company's logo to the app, to adding or removing sections you don't want/need to use, we as Managers have total control. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

I wish Connecteam had more ways to write notes regarding staff - for example, in terms of a Human Resources point of view, I wish I could track attendance and add confidential notes about employees, such as medical conditions that other Managers may need to be aware of, or punishment logs - such as suspension, demotion, promotion, or termination logs. This would also allow us to log communications with staff, whether it be by phone or email in a centralised place to ensure the Management Team stay on the same page, at all times. What do you like best about Connecteam?

Using this platform has made my life so much easier when it comes to employee management and payroll is such a breeze now. Our business uses this daily, from tasks that need to be completed, to employee scheduling, to recognitions and celebrating each other. We were using a platform before Connecteam that wasn't the easiest to use, so it was a little nerve wracking when switching. It was super easy to get everyone to move over and start using the app though. All of my employees like this platform so much better than our last. You can tell they are always looking to improve with the new features they are releasing, and they frequently reach out to ask what features are working and what could be better. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

I will say that initially when we were deciding if we wanted to switch platforms, it was a little confusing with how the plans were laid out. I had to do some extensive research into it to figure out which plan(s) would fit the needs of my business. It does get a little pricey depending on what features you are needing and wanting to use, and it does seem like they're still in early stages with a lot of them, but they are working on it which is a plus. What do you like best about Connecteam?

Connecteam is very easy to use for myself as the admin and my staff members for tracking their hours each work day. Connecteam also integrates into Quickbooks, which I use for my accounting, and as an independent small business owner, it has saved me so much time that I have been able to use for all of the other things I need to worry about as a super busy person. What do you dislike about Connecteam?

My staff tends not to take breaks unless I am there, which I can't always be, so if they can be notified and prompted to take a break that would be good. What do you like best about Connecteam?

All of my users are now able to track their PTO, which wasn't possible with our previous system. Setting it up was straightforward, and I appreciated the variety of options available to accommodate the specific needs of our business. The documentation provided for setup was thorough and easy to follow, and customer support was very responsive and helpful when I had questions during the process. I highly recommend this product. What do you like best about Connecteam?

We wanted a straightforward system to enable our employees to log their hours via an app rather than timesheets. Instead we found a full service app that allowed us to handle all of our communication,operations and HR! It connects with Quickbooks for easy payroll and allowed us to move everything else from Trello. What do you like best about Connecteam?

Connecteam has been a great solution for improving communication between our technicians and office staff. We use it mainly for internal messaging, sharing updates and announcements, and managing weekend shift sign-ups. It’s also helped streamline PTO requests, which used to be a hassle to track manually. One of the unexpected benefits has been how it brings our office staff closer to the work our technicians do in the field. Our techs often share photos from their day — like bee hives found inside walls, termite damage, before-and-after shots from jobs, and even surprise wildlife encounters like snakes or baby opossums. It’s created a fun and informative way for everyone to stay connected and involved, even if they’re not physically on-site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Connecteam?

While we love the communication features, there are a few things we wish Connecteam offered or made more accessible:

Desktop pop-up/chat notifications: Since we rely heavily on it for communication, having push-style desktop alerts or a more chat-forward interface would help ensure that urgent messages don’t get overlooked — especially by office staff working on computers.

Video chat capability: A built-in option for quick video calls would help streamline internal conversations without having to switch platforms.

Basic features behind higher-tier plans: Some features that feel like they should be standard — like scheduled announcements or the ability to personalize birthday messages — are only available on higher-tier plans.

Small features behind paywalls: At times, it feels like even minor or seemingly simple features are part of upgrades. It would be nice for Connecteam to review what’s included in each plan, especially for small teams who rely on the basics and don’t need the full enterprise-level package.
