What do you like best about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

What I appreciate most about IBM Aspera on Cloud is that it solves a real pain poin, moving large files quickly and reliably. The transfer speeds are consistently fast no matter where you're sending files, which means I can actually trust the timelines when planning projects. The cloud setup keeps costs manageable since there's no hardware to buy, and the dashboard gives me the visibility I need to track what's happening and report back to stakeholders. I also like that it integrates with our existing workflows through APIs, so we're not constantly doing manual handoffs. Bottom line: it takes something that used to cause delays and frustration and makes it something I don't have to worry about anymore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

Honestly, the learning curve at the start can be frustrating and it's not exactly plug-and-play, especially if your team isn't super technical. You'll spend some time figuring out the setup instead of just getting to work. The pricing can also catch you off guard if your transfer needs spike unexpectedly, so you need to keep an eye on usage. And the interface? It's functional but feels a bit clunky, sometimes you just want to send a file without clicking through a bunch of settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional Speed and Security for Large File Transfers"
What do you like best about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

What I like most about IBM Aspera on Cloud is its unmatched speed and reliability when transferring large files over long distances. Unlike traditional file transfer protocols, Aspera leverages its FASP technology to move files quickly without being affected by network latency or packet loss. The intuitive user interface and cloud-based access make it easy to manage multiple projects securely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

While the overall performance is excellent, the initial setup and onboarding can be a bit complex for first-time users. It took some time to fully understand how to configure user roles, set bandwidth limits, and integrate with our existing cloud storage providers. Additionally, The support documentation is helpful, but it could be a bit more beginner-friendly. Also, while the platform is feature-rich, the pricing can feel steep for smaller or infrequent users. "Fast and Secure File Transfers for Large Datasets"
What do you like best about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

The best part of IBM Aspera is its speed and reliability. We deal with huge data files, and traditional transfer methods were slow or error-prone. Aspera makes transfers blazing fast, even over long distances. The encryption and security features also give us peace of mind when handling sensitive files. The interface is quite clean and easy to navigate even for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

Sometimes the UI can be a little unintuitive, especially while setting up new workspaces or permissions. Also, the learning curve for new users or non-tech folks can be a bit steep initially. But once you're familiar, it's smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A review about IBM Aspera"
What do you like best about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

well it has been most helpfull in sending large data sets without any restriction, rather it be its size or any type of network with maximum speed. It is also good for sending large data files globally within time frame. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

i think it is a bit costly I think there should be a less price compared to the price available right now, the deployment is complex for new users and the some times have some difficulties while using it, a less intuitive user interface, and limitations are there in in certain use cases like multi-directional transfers and real-time synchronization. "Good"
What do you like best about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

IBM Aspera on Cloud stands out for its unmatched speed, security, and reliability in transferring large files across geographies. What I like best is its high-speed data transfer protocol (FASP) which consistently outperforms traditional FTP/SFTP solutions, even over high-latency or unreliable networks. It’s ideal for handling large datasets like media files, backups, or enterprise-level documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

While IBM Aspera on Cloud is highly efficient for large file transfers, one area of improvement could be the initial onboarding and setup process, which may feel complex for first-time users without prior technical exposure. The platform offers powerful features, but navigating advanced configurations or integrations (especially with on-prem systems) sometimes requires additional support or training. "Accelerated Data Delivery with IBM Aspera: A Practical Evaluation"
What do you like best about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

What I like best about IBM Aspera on Cloud is its unmatched file transfer speed and reliability over long distances and high-latency networks. Unlike traditional FTP or HTTP methods, Aspera uses its patented FASP protocol to fully utilize available bandwidth, which drastically reduces transfer times even for extremely large files. Additionally, its intuitive web-based interface and powerful APIs make it easy to integrate into enterprise workflows, while maintaining robust security and granular access control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

While IBM Aspera on Cloud excels in performance, there are a few areas that could be improved. The user interface, though functional, can feel a bit outdated and unintuitive for first-time users. It also has a learning curve for administrators when configuring workspaces, access controls, and automation workflows. Pricing can be another concern—especially for smaller teams—as the cost can scale quickly depending on data volume and usage patterns. Lastly, occasional latency in the web UI or delays in file status updates can hinder real-time tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Even with very huge data, IBM Aspera on Cloud's amazing transfer speed and durability are its finest features. Long-distance data transfer is handled without lag or malfunction, and our documents are kept safe thanks to the robust encryption. Being a frequent user, I like the user-friendly interface and the integration with cloud storage services like AWS and Azure. Also, it has awesome customer support! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

Particularly for non-technical users, the initial setup and user onboarding can be a little complicated. Although it works, the interface could be simpler and user-friendly. "Lightning-fast file transfers with enterprise-grade accuracy"
What do you like best about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

What impressed me the most about Aspera on Cloud is just how fast it is when it comes to transferring large files.

I'm talking GBs in minutes, something traditional file, sharing tools can't even come close to.

It’s also highly secure and dependable, which makes it perfect for projects involving sensitive or large-scale data.

We used it across teams, and the fact that it seamlessly integrates with our cloud storages like AWS S3 and IBM Cloud Object Storage which made it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Aspera on Cloud?

While Aspera delivers on performance, the user interface could really use a modern update.

It’s not exactly easy for first-time users, there’s a bit of a learning curve, especially if you're used to more visual platforms like Dropbox or Google Drive.

Plus, the pricing might feel a little steep for small teams or startups unless there's a very specific use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
