"Practical Experience with Sage Intacct"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I really like how Sage Intacct simplifies financial management and reporting. The dashboards and automation features save a lot of manual effort, especially for recurring tasks like invoicing and reconciliations. It’s also very flexible — you can customize reports easily, and the integration with other systems like Salesforce or Excel makes it smooth to manage end-to-end accounting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Sometimes the user interface feels a bit dated and not very intuitive for new users. Simple things like finding specific reports or setting up dimensions can take extra steps. Also, the system can be slow when handling large data volumes, and a few functions still require manual work that could be automated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Financial Management Platform for Growing Organizations"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

The modular structure and cloud-native architecture make Sage Intacct exceptionally scalable. I especially appreciate the dimensional chart of accounts, which lets us tag and slice data without creating excessive GL accounts. The multi-entity and multi-currency support are top-tier, perfect for global or distributed organizations. It’s clear the system was built by finance professionals for finance professionals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

The platform offers deep automation of AP/AR workflows, customizable dashboards for real-time performance monitoring, and strong audit trail features that ensure compliance. The reporting and analytics tools are intuitive and flexible—saving us hours during close cycles and audits. Its seamless integration with Salesforce and other systems minimizes data entry and boosts productivity. Overall, it empowers our finance teams to be more strategic and less transactional. "Sage Intacct - Streamlined Accounting and Reporting"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

very easy, and I can easily adjust prior months and add back any necessary amounts. Plus, the ability to close books ensures entries aren’t posted to the wrong periods. Another huge advantage is how easily it allows me to upload budgets and compare them with actuals. My clients always appreciate how quickly I can make adjustments and send them the updated reports. Intacct also consolidates multiple entities with just one click. I have been working with Intacct for quite a while now, and it just works flawlessly with minimal downtime. Coming to the onboarding setup of a new client, We can easily add vendors, employees to the intacct which helps in picking up while posting entries. As a controller in my organisation, I have to use Intacct on daily basis to help provide my deliverabales. Also the best feature we have in Intacct for AP module is, it easily integrates with Bill.com. And coming to any issues with Intacct, our tech customer team will resolve it at the earliest without effecting the delivery timelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

One thing I have noticed is that Intacct tends to hang sometimes when I try to generate large reports, especially the Portal P&L tabular report for a full year. It struggles with heavy data loads. I have also faced occasional issues when generating revenue reports, where the system would fail or time out. One last thing is Intacct would logout if there is no activity, if there is possibility to increase this inactivity time, it would be Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast close and clear reports for the team"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I like how easy it is to tag things by project, department, or location. It helps me pull the right report for the right people without building a giant chart of accounts. The dashboards give me a quick view of what’s going on, which makes closing the books much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Some reports are tricky to set up the first time and can take extra effort to customize. Budgeting works fine for simple needs, but for detailed forecasting we sometimes need another tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sage Software easy and user friendly"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

Sage Intacct is a true cloud ERP solution, which means no heavy IT infrastructure is needed, Its multi-entity, multi-currency, and multi-book accounting features are excellent for companies operating in different geographies.

Automates accounts payable, receivables, consolidations, and recurring billing,

Real-time visibility into financial and operational data with customizable dashboards

The reporting is GAAP-compliant and trusted for audit readiness Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

The system is feature-rich, but that also means new users may find navigation and setup a bit overwhelming at first.

While reporting is powerful, building highly customized reports sometimes requires advanced knowledge or additional training.

Intacct is excellent for accounting and finance, but unlike full ERPs (like NetSuite), it doesn’t cover supply chain, manufacturing, or HR modules — so you often need integrations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"“Streamlined Accounting with Room for Improvement”"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

What I like most about Sage Intacct is how user-friendly and efficient it is for managing complex accounting tasks. The interface is clean and intuitive, which makes it easy to navigate even for someone who’s not super tech-savvy. I especially appreciate the automation features—things like account reconciliations and payment processing can be done with minimal manual effort, saving a ton of time.

Another big plus is the real-time reporting. Being able to generate accurate financial reports instantly helps a lot with decision-making and gives better visibility into the company’s financial health. And since it’s cloud-based, I can access it from anywhere, which is super convenient when working remotely or needing to check something on the go.

It also integrates well with other platforms like Salesforce, which streamlines workflows between departments and reduces data entry errors. Overall, it’s a powerful tool that makes accounting more efficient and less stressful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

One thing I dislike about Sage Intacct is that the learning curve can be a bit steep at first, especially for new users who aren’t familiar with accounting systems. Some of the modules feel a little too segmented, and navigating between them isn’t always as smooth as I’d like. It sometimes takes extra clicks to get to the information you need.

Also, while the reporting features are powerful, customizing reports can be tricky without some training or support. I’ve found that certain filters or formatting options aren’t as intuitive as they could be. And occasionally, the system can be a bit slow when processing large volumes of data or running complex reports.

Lastly, the cost of additional modules or integrations can add up quickly, which might be a concern for smaller teams or companies with tight budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Brock Faucette of Sage Intacct

Thanks for your glowing review, David. And I'll be sure to share your concerns about costs and the learning curve with the appropriate internal teams.

"A good product for financial reporting"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

Financial reporting capabilities with Sage are good and easy to pick up. Reporting usually runs very quickly. Modifying a report is generally easy once the user knows how to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Exporting reports to excel leaves something to be desired. Reports get exported to excel with rows that are merged, and need to be manually unmerged for excel formulas to work properly. Editing reports is mostly straightforward, but there are some QOL features that would be helpful. For example, having the ability to be able to delete or add multiple columns to a report at once would be a great feature. Customer support is not as responsive to inquiries as other ERP companies I've used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intaact is great!"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

Intacct is a tool that’s easy to access from anywhere and keeps itself up to date automatically. It gives you snapshots of your finances in real time and lets you slice and dice your data by things like project, department, or location. It takes the headache out of manual accounting; automating tasks like billing, reconciliations, and close-outs and handles everything from multi-entity consolidation to different currencies without breaking a sweat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Sage Intacct can feel like more than some teams bargained for—it’s pricier than simpler tools, and you often need help setting it up and learning the ropes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sage Intacct: A Cost-Effective, Feature-Rich Cloud Accounting Tool with a Manageable Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

One of the best advantages of Sage Intacct is its great support for companies with multiple entities. Intacct allows you to set up different locations with each entity which makes it easy manage your books across different entities, including foreign entities. This is also reflected in the custom reporting options that you can obtain by customizing various reports depending on your organization’s needs.

Additionally, the ability to assign departments to specific accounts gives you better visibility and control over departmental performance. Revenue scheduling is another strong feature as it lets you automate and manage complex revenue recognition scenarios with ease. The fixed asset module is detailed and thorough, enabling accurate tracking, depreciation, and reporting of assets over their lifecycle.

Sage Intacct also has a robust billing system that integrates with other software, such as Sales Force, which allows our accounting managers follow the billing process from invoice creation to revenue recognition. There is also support for deferred billing and revenue schedules. The same also applies to the AP side. We can use the Intacct AP module or use a third-party and get the needed results and visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

The software can be slow at times, especially when handling large data sets or running complex reports. I noticed that new updates occasionally introduce bugs or issues, which can disrupt our workflows. The user interface (UI) feels outdated in my opinion compared to more modern platforms, and there’s room for improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intacct a safe space to have our accounting"
What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

Sage Intacct is super user-friendly, which makes it great for day-to-day accounting work. If you're in accounts payable like me, you’ll appreciate how easy it is to find what you need and get things done without jumping through hoops.

I use it pretty much every day, and it handles invoice processing, approvals, and vendor stuff smoothly. It’s reliable, doesn’t crash, and saves a lot of time compared to older systems.

Overall, it’s a solid tool—easy to learn, easy to use, and it keeps things moving.

also, when I've had problems, the customer service team has helped me very quickly.

And lastly it's pretty easy to implement and integrate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

I really have no complaints; the times I've used it it's worked quite well for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
