Our company culture is one thing we always strive to improve. Using Absorb has been such a huge factor in helping us keep our culture alive. We love utilizing Absorb Amplify to help employees develop as an individual. Using this feature to promote courses that might be relevant after company Lunch & Learns, Trainings and Leadership Discussions.

Another great way Absorb helps us grow is through Absorb Create! It's been a great tool to use when creating trainings that are branded to us. Utilizing the A1 feature to help refine the trainings we already have into something greater. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are not a lot of features on Absorb that I would catagorize as least effective or least used. Our managers, admins and employees love all the unique features and platforms. If I had to say anything about dislikes, I would say the Reviewers abilities.

We did have an issue where our Leadership team was not able to review created trainings because they did not hold "Create Licenses" and our login is set up through SSO. So, they do not have individual login credentials. It makes it really hard to get these trainings up and running if we are having to create new logins for leadership and have them remember another password. That was the point of using SSO. I am very new to the world of Learning & Development, and work closely with our L&D Manager. We utilise your LMS (Absorb) but are very new to this system, having never administrated or built on before. Marcia has always been patient and helpful as we learned how to set up new curriculums, departments, connectors with our HRIS system etc. The list goes on! We could not have achieved what we have to date without her guidance and support. I feel that we have a brilliant working relationship and look forward to our meetings, knowing that she does not judge or get frustrated with our barrage of questions. She is extremely knowledgeable and honest when she is not able to perform a task (due to her access levels rather than knowledge on Absorb). She is brilliant at problem solving and troubleshooting any issues we encounter.

She truly is a great asset and the best part of our Absorb LMS experience because we know she's got our back to help guide us with her calm, steady and friendly partnership. Absorb’s course and program creation features are highly flexible, allowing us to design tailored learning experiences and journeys that meet diverse learner needs. The platform also provides strong visibility for admins, instructors, and managers to track progress and engagement, while offering seamless communication tools that make it easy to connect with learners directly through the system.

Absorb’s quarterly releases are prioritized based on client recommendations. Over the past year, many of our limitations have been addressed through new features, updated functionalities, or effective workarounds. We would confidently recommend Absorb LMS to any organization seeking a fast-evolving learning management system with excellent support services, and that values owning the management of its platform without being tied to a configuration team—as is often the case with ERP/SAP systems.

Another strength is the dedicated customer success support we receive. Our Customer Success Manager, Sharon, regularly checks in with us to ensure we are not facing any issues, discusses our plans for learning activities implementation so she can proactively support, and keeps us up to date on product enhancements. The only drawback is the limited functionality of the mobile app. However, for our organization, encouraging employees to access the platform through their mobile browsers has proven to be an excellent solution. The interface adjusts seamlessly across all search engines and devices, and, in fact, mobile browser usage has become more popular internally than desktop or laptop access. Absorb LMS answered a lot of questions we were facing as an organization in how we train and develop our employees. Absorb is not only a fantastic repository for learning resources, the built in tools make creating new resources and experiences for our teammates so much easier and more streamlined. We use the Absorb Create authoring tool and have had great luck in course creation using many methods (Ai, templates, etc.). We also absolutely loved both our sales representative, Mike Kuphos, and our Implementation manager, Joe Zizian. Joe has been a great help even since we went live with our LMS and were moved into the maintenance stage! The LMS side is a solid and reliable platform. It allows me to publish and manage content, enroll learners, generate reports, and now even create content. Some aspects of the platform are not very intuitive and often require workarounds. For instance, managing group enrollments can be cumbersome—you have to navigate into groups and view the users in order to enroll them all at once, instead of simply using the 'enroll users' feature to select a group or individual users directly. Additionally, the notification system, particularly the emails sent out during enrollments, could be clearer. It would be helpful if, when publishing, a pop-up or a visible tile indicated whether emails are being sent out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Absorb LMS is a reliable and user-friendly learning management system. What stands out most is how easy it is to manage training programs while saving time. Its automation features such as, automatic enrollments, reminders, and various type of reports help to reduce manual work. The platform also works well on mobile devices and connects easily with other systems. Hence, with the dynamic dashboards and useful data insights, organizations can make better decisions and improve learning outcomes. Nothing in particular. However, I feel some of the features could have been readily available together with the monthly subscription, however its usually associates with cost factor on some of the key features, such as Absorb content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Training programs and courses are now centralized, allowing each employee's training history to be easily stored and accessed. Absorb has also streamlined much of the administrative and logistical work, such us enrollments, attendance checking and learning progress - saving us significant time and effort.

Another reason we've enjoyed working with Absorb is the support from our Client Success Managers, Brittney and later Anup. As first time LMS users, their guidance has been incredibly helpful. They have consistently offered practical suggestions to improve our process. Even outside of our scheduled meetings, they've been quick to respond to our questions via email whenever we hit a bump. Their support was especially evident when we integrated one of our internal apps to streamline our process. I was hoping for more features that could make an instructor's job easier, particularly around grading and assessment management. For example. assessments need to be reviewed individually, which can be time consuming. A bulk review or grading opting would be a great addition, as well as a more flexiblilty in grading overall.

Also, while we haven't subscribed to the Analyze or Engage add-ons, it would have been helpful to have access to some basic engagement tools or data insights by default. The best part of Absorb is being able to have a record of training for the organisation. It is like a one-stop shop for Evidence of education. The initial phase of the Absorb set-up was crucial, and we had received tremendous support from Britnney in the initial phase to the live rollout, and this support continued with Anup coming on board as well. From a learner's experience, the Absorb set-up allowed us to track all the activities of training and also allowed us to access all the available training on the LMS. Despite having our own specific mandatory training, access to other educational resources was made accessible. As a Learner and an Admin user, I can say that I use the Absorb platform every day, whether I am completing a learning on Absorb, building a curriculum, setting up an ILC session or even generating reports from Absorb. Absorb is user-friendly once you get used to the system. Through the constant education and awareness of Absorb integration, our report of difficulty in accessing or utilising Absorb has dropped drastically, which means that staff are becoming familiar with the system. The inability to troubleshoot changes in the admin requires a process to make the changes. For example, for the tracking of CPD Points, you can not separate 2024 and 2025. All points for 2024 and 2025 will be added together. Recommendation has been given to us to address with the Absorb Admin; however, I believe that they should be able to fix it. One of the standout features for me has been the Instructor-Led Course (ILC) sessions, which are easy to schedule, manage, and attend. The platform makes it simple to set up ILC sessions, register for sessions, and provide learners with a seamless experience. I’ve found the interface to be very user-friendly, both from an administrator’s perspective and for learners navigating their courses. Absorb also does a great job of blending traditional eLearning with live sessions, making it a versatile solution for organizations with different training needs. Customer support is not a standout feature. We have the added elite support for an extra cost which is great, however, when we have had to submit a support ticket, it sometimes takes longer than anticipated and may not even solve the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After using multiple LMS platforms with prior companies, I was tasked with finding the best fit for JEO Consulting Group. One key feature we were looking for was an e-commerce option, the ability to design training within the LMS, and a team that would support our growth.
