What do you like best about Accelevents?

Accelevents integrates with my current tech stack nicely, but they are exceptional at giving my team the ability to maximize the engagement opportunity for both our attendees and our sponsors or partners. What do you dislike about Accelevents?

This is one of those things where it's not about Accelevents, it's purely about event planning in general. Events are complex. What do you like best about Accelevents?

The support that we received through onboarding and during our event absolutely made the difference. We are so grateful to Althea, who became a part of our team. She walked us through everything we needed to know about the platform and supported us with our many questions along the way. She ran a session for our presenters so everyone knew what to do and expect. Her 1:1 dedicated event support on our main day of presentations and workshops saved us from the expected technical difficulties you can imagine participants may have when adjusting to a new platform. Everyone was more at ease knowing that Althea was just a quick message away and was actively monitoring the platform for any comments from anyone experiencing challenges.

Accelevents worked exactly the way that we hoped it would. It provided points of connection in our virtual event that helped us feel like we were in person. The lounge areas for folks to chat and the networking were really cool features. We utilized the "exhibitors" area for presenters to share gallery works, and this functioned just how we had hoped.

What do you dislike about Accelevents?

The one thing that could have been a lot better in Accelevents were the break out rooms. Presenters were hoping to utilize the same break out rooms multiple times for their participants and having to essentially delete the rooms to call people back and re-make them each time was frustrating. It also makes it more challenging to have the same participants rejoin the same group again. This is one function that Accelevents software team could put some extra time in development. What do you like best about Accelevents?

There is so much to like. One thing that stood out was the ability to customize almost everything, down to HEX colors, imagery, etc. So many other platforms seem to lock things down and give significantly less creative control. The self-help resources and customer support have also been top-notch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Accelevents?

I am struggling to understand why the default event times displayed on our "landing page" shows EST when the events show CST. It may be because I am in EST when creating them, but I cannot figure it out. It would also be helpful if I could customize the "footer" link colors. For now, check out one of our newer updates with the event time zone! You can now lock in the time zone for your event so that it's static. What do you like best about Accelevents?

The user interface of Accelevents, for the most part, is intuitive. When you learn about the platform, you realize that there are many ways to accomplish your goals, which gives the user multiple opportunities to meet the needs of your specific event. I am not explicitly tied to the standard workflow, and this is an invaluable feature for anyone with picky stakeholders. Additionally, the support we receive goes above and beyond many other vendors I work with regularly. They help me find ways to accomplish what we need and are very quick to offer assistance. What do you dislike about Accelevents?

It's challenging to identify the dislikes for this platform because whenever I have a concern or displeasure, they are quick to get on a call with me. They offer workarounds, or they are quick to add them to their product roadmap. Once it's added to their roadmap (if it's not already on their radar), their development teams are incredibly fast to turn it around.
