"AEM in Practice: Streamlining Content"
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Adobe Experience Manager offers a robust selection of tools for managing complex digital systems, allowing organizations to create, deliver, and optimize content across multiple channels from a single platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

While Adobe Experience Manager offers a robust selection of tools, the user experience isn’t always intuitive. Routine updates and maintenance can sometimes be time-consuming, and smaller teams may find the platform’s cost and technical requirements difficult to justify. "A robust content management systen that scales with business needs."
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

I've been using Adobe Experience Manager to manage and deliver digital content across multiple platforms, and it has made a big difference in how our team handles content at scale. What I really like is the flexibility whether it's creating personalized landing pages, managing assets, or delivering consistent experiences across web and mobile, AEM handles it smoothly. The integration with other adobe tools like analytics and target makes it even mire powerful for building customer journeys. That said the platform does have a learning curve, and implementation can get expensive if you don't have the right technical expertise. Once you get past that, though, the reliability and enterprise- level features make it worth the investment. Instead of juggling different CMS platforms, we can now streamline everything, maintain brand consistency, and speed up our publishing progress. I frequently use it to assign and see the progress of task of assignees. And most of all the after service they provide is amazing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

Adobe Experience Manager is not the cheapest option out there, but for organizations looking to scale digital experiences and maintain consistency across platforms, it's one of the best solutions available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)"
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Adobe Experience Manager has been an exceptional platform for managing our digital content and delivering personalized experiences across multiple channels. What I appreciate most is its intuitive content authoring interface that allows our marketing team to create and update web pages without constantly relying on developers. The robust digital asset management capabilities streamline our workflow by providing a centralized repository where we can easily organize, search, and reuse multimedia content. AEM's powerful personalization and targeting features enable us to deliver relevant content to different audience segments, significantly improving our engagement rates. Overall, the platform's scalability and integration capabilities with other Adobe Creative Cloud tools make it an invaluable asset for managing our entire digital experience ecosystem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

While Adobe Experience Manager is powerful, it comes with a steep learning curve that can be overwhelming for new users, particularly those without a technical background. The platform's complexity often requires a significant investment of time in training and onboarding before team members become productive. Performance can sometimes be sluggish, particularly when working with large volumes of content or during peak usage times, which can frustrate editors trying to meet tight deadlines. The licensing costs are substantial, making it a significant budget commitment that may not be feasible for smaller organizations or projects with limited resources. Additionally, the extensive customization options, while flexible, can sometimes feel overwhelming and lead to over-engineered solutions when simpler approaches would suffice. "Immersive and outstanding"
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

“Adobe Experience Manager makes it easy to manage, organize, and deliver digital content across multiple channels. I really like how it integrates with other Adobe tools such as Analytics and Target, which helps streamline campaigns and improve personalization. Its content authoring features are user-friendly and allow teams to collaborate efficiently, while the scalability ensures it can handle enterprise-level needs.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

“One of the biggest drawbacks of AEM is the complexity of setup and implementation, which often requires technical expertise and can be time-consuming. The licensing and maintenance costs are also quite high compared to other content management systems. In addition, while powerful, the system can feel overwhelming for new users and sometimes requires extra training to use effectively.” Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful but feels Personalized"
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Easy to manage multiple marketing platforms and campaigns - one centralized hub for everything! AEM integrated with other tools being used, so literally everything is in one place. I use frequently - at least 2-3 times a week and any issues were immediately handled through customer service. Implementation was so easy that I did not even notice the change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

It took a little bit of time to learn all the functions and benefits. Some features were missed alltogether until implementation support provided more training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Integration and Organization, but Layout Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Organized system, easy to navigate, connection with other Adobe platforms, like to learn the available tools for my tasks and what can be done with each option. It's well structured and almost perfect Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

The layout is a bit tiring and needs some optimization to facilitate more than one work being done at a time. I like to do various tasks in the same app, and sometimes it is difficult due to the lack of options to add a new page on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Enterprise-Grade Content Management with Flexibility and Power"
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Adobe Experience Manager stands out for its ability to manage complex, multi-site, and multilingual content at scale. Features like Multi-Site Manager (MSM), Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments make reusability and localization seamless. From a developer’s standpoint, its support for headless CMS with GraphQL, integration with Adobe Target and Analytics, and the emerging Edge Delivery Services (EDS) ecosystem make it future-ready. It strikes a great balance between marketer-friendly tools and developer extensibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

AEM has a steep learning curve, especially for new developers or teams without prior Adobe stack experience. Licensing and infrastructure costs can be significant for smaller organizations, and upgrades between major versions (e.g., from AEM 6.5 to AEM as a Cloud Service) can require significant planning. "Adobe Experience Manager: prepare to custom develop everything"
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

Just about any business case will be able to use this platform but know that what you can achieve out of the box is very limited and will require a detailed intergration plan and months of support. If you're already in the Adobe ecosystem, this will be a consideration as your primary Content Management System. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

As an Administrator to this platform, every aspect of Adobe Experience Manager needs some sort of development as nothing works directly out of the box. It tries to act as a centralized hub for all Content Management and can not excel in any aspect. Help and support from Adobe is non-existent even with their Ultimate Support tiers as our use cases have never supported 'native functionality' and becomes an upsell to Adobe Consulting Services. To properly get the best out of this product, and I use that term very loosely, you need to go "all-in" to the rest of their services, e.g. Marketo, Adobe Analytics, RTCDP, Workfront, and Firefly services. I would not recommend this platform for anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AEM Experience @ UM"
What do you like best about Adobe Experience Manager?

What I like best about Adobe Experience Manager is its ability to bring content, design, and data together in one centralized, intuitive platform. As someone who manages multiple departmental websites, I appreciate how AEM streamlines publishing workflows and allows for consistent branding and design across pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Experience Manager?

Something is wrong with uploading images. They also publish blurry and the editing software in AEM is not very good. You are constrained to certain size images, and again, they always appear blurry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
