What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is now my go to social media scheduling tool and I really appreciate the service every single day that I have used. I plan my content for a whole quarter at a time and being able to schedule everything for all my platforms at once is a huge time saver. I appreciate the dashboard to keep track of my goals as well as the excellent insights provided, and I really enjoy the "engage" feature for daily community management. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I find the user interface could be easier to navigate. I’ve had to jump across multiple sections— be it the monitor, the explore, or the analyze— to get something done. I think there are too many places to keep things, and so many saved searches and reports seem to get lost or misplaced, and it becomes a lengthy process to find the one I want. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite brings everything together in one place. As a digital marketing professional managing multiple social platforms, it’s been a huge time-saver for me. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is how it simplifies managing multiple social media handles in one place. At Truebrowns, we have a strong presence across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. And Hootsuite makes scheduling, planning, and tracking everything so much easier. I love the content calendar view, it gives a clean snapshot of upcoming posts and helps me ensure our campaigns stay consistent and timely. The analytics dashboard is another big plus. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I love how easy Hootsuite is to use. We can easily link our social media channels into the application and schedule posts easily. I use Hootsuite almost every day. I like to schedule post a week or two in advance so I'm not scheduling to churn out content at the last minute so this helps me create content in batches and schedule it with ease. Hootsuite also has its own analytics right in the software which makes it easy to see how well you're doing. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I dislike that for the past two months or so we have got disconnected from one of our Instagram profiles and haven't been able to reconnect it so posts haven't been posting all this time. Not sure if it is an Instagram thing or Hootsuite thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Using Hootsuite to schedule my multi-social posts really helps me save a ton of time. Hours each week get saved just because I can adjust my posts to a calendar view which lets me see multiple posts at once. I can even get everything planned, and I can fill content calendar and not worry about any gaps and missing posts. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Some features do feel a little outdated compared to some of the newer tools and features and on some occasions, some posts are published differently than how they are shown in the preview. Also when I need to add more team members and accounts, it is definitely not the cheapest option. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I work with Hootsuite every single day and without it I think my social media manager work wouldn't be the same. I like the tags and campaigns feature which allows me to run reports from the campaigns we have around the globe and can filter by tags in the calendar view. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

In our NIQ workflow, we consistently use four tags per post to ensure proper categorization. However, when generating reports and filtering by tags, I’ve noticed a limitation: if I select only one tag, some posts don’t appear in the results—even though they were tagged with it. To compensate, I try using a second or third tag, but this causes the report to become cumulative, which skews the data and makes it less useful for accurate analysis.

It would be incredibly helpful if the reporting tool could allow for more precise filtering—perhaps by showing posts that match any selected tag individually, or by offering a non-cumulative view option. This would greatly improve the accuracy and usability of the reports.

Additional Feedback: Calendar Sharing Functionality

It would be extremely helpful if the calendar view in Hootsuite could be shared with individuals who are not Hootsuite users. As a Social Media Manager, I often need to collaborate with stakeholders or external partners who don’t have access to the platform. Being able to share a read-only or interactive calendar view would streamline communication and planning, and reduce the need for manual exports or screenshots. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

It's simple to use and to roll out across an enterprise organisation. We've been using Hootsuite for three years now and it's hard to fault it. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

At times, the platform feels like it's very modularised and the analytics isn't necessarily connected to planner or streams. It would be great to see more connective tissue between the various modules so they all feel like they are part of the same environment. For example, it would be good to edit tags in analytics or planner and not have to edit them in streams. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

There’s a lot of time I save when I’m able to schedule posts for the entire week from different accounts. Hootsuite saves time when I don’t have to log into every single account. I also like the calendar view option. Its super useful for organizing different posts and this also helps me to make sure nothing is missed. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I would say the reporting needs improvement because I tend to search for the needed metrics more than I want to. I don’t rely much on the mobile app because, the same way the desktop version is, it is not as refined. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

CSV bulk upload feature is what keeps me organize while managing 12 different client accounts from our little agency in Ahmedabad.

I remember my first week here, I was manually scheduling posts one by one. Now I just dump everything into a spreadsheet on sunday nights, upload it through Hootsuite, and boom, two weeks of content across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram is scheduled in maybe 20 minutes.
