This isn't a dislike insomuch as a disclaimer. This product is not a silver bullet solution. It doesn't solve problems for you, rather, it's a tool that makes problems easier to solve. In my experience, DonorSearch is extremely user-friendly, with new tools and interfaces that are simple to learn and navigate as they are updated. The customer service is excellent, and customers have access to a wide range of training opportunities at any time, day or night. DonorSearch has an intuitive, user-friendly interface that makes it easy to navigate. The results are consistently accurate and comprehensive, especially when it comes to charitable giving, real estate holdings, business affiliations, and foundation connections. I rarely find a result elsewhere for my prospect that is not included in their initial return. Although I haven’t needed customer support often, the few times I have, it’s been excellent, quick, responsive, and helpful. Overall, DonorSearch is my top choice for prospect research. Being able to overlay the DSAI information with the traditional DonorSearch scores has been very helping in identifying the best prospects. The DonorSearch team does a great job of helping their clients strategize the best ways to use the data. Having accessible and friendly people to work with has really helped us up our game in how we are using the data to identify major gift and mid-level prospects. I don't like that when refreshing a DonorSearch profile from Salesforce, it creates an entire new profile instead of updating the older one. I feel that it makes me have to re-do work that I have already one because team members who are opening profiles from Salesforce are not always looking at the version I have been working on from within DonorSearch. I feel like sometimes with DonorSearch I have to repeat work I have already done because notes or labels or fields I have added to a profile don't always transfer to a new profile. DonorSearch is an absolute ASSET to our multi-million-dollar capital campaign. We have all the tools we need to identify major donors to our project, and the background on their giving to create an informed suggested gift amount. DonorSearch is a major component to our success. The account managers as well as technical folks are very, very responsive. Really easy to use, which is great, because I use it everyday. The integration to SalesForce was a bit of a challenge, but the IT specialist, Adam, kept after it with our IT person and finally got to the bottom of the problem.
