Jonas, What might also be the culprit is that you need to run orkaudio as root, otherwise it does not have packet sniffing privileges and might crash. Hi, I am trying to compile orkaudio for xubuntu 7.04 but fails so far. The precompiled packages does not work since they are built for an older OS. This is what I get: jonas@noisy:~/tmp/oreka-0.5-313$ cd orkbasecxx/ jonas@noisy:~/tmp/oreka-0.5-313/orkbasecxx$ libtoolize --force You should add the contents of `/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to `aclocal.m4'. jonas@noisy:~/tmp/oreka-0.5-313/orkbasecxx$ cp /usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4 aclocal.m4 jonas@noisy:~/tmp/oreka-0.5-313/orkbasecxx$ automake -a configure.in: no proper invocation of AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE was found. configure.in: You should verify that configure.in invokes AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE, configure.in: that aclocal.m4 is present in the top-level directory, configure.in: and that aclocal.m4 was recently regenerated (using aclocal). messages/Makefile.am: installing `./depcomp' /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: am__fastdepCXX does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: The usual way to define `am__fastdepCXX' is to add `AC_PROG_CXX' /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: to `configure.in' and run `aclocal' and `autoconf' again. /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: AMDEP does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: The usual way to define `AMDEP' is to add one of the compiler tests /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: AC_PROG_CC, AC_PROG_CXX, AC_PROG_CXX, AC_PROG_OBJC, /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: AM_PROG_AS, AM_PROG_GCJ, AM_PROG_UPC /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: to `configure.in' and run `aclocal' and `autoconf' again. /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: am__fastdepCC does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: The usual way to define `am__fastdepCC' is to add `AC_PROG_CC' /usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: to `configure.in' and run `aclocal' and `autoconf' again. jonas@noisy:~/tmp/oreka-0.5-313/orkbasecxx$ make -f Makefile.cvs aclocal autoheader automake configure.in:4: required file `./missing' not found configure.in:4: `automake --add-missing' can install `missing' configure.in:4: required file `./install-sh' not found configure.in:4: `automake --add-missing' can install `install-sh' make: *** [all] Error 1 jonas@noisy:~/tmp/oreka-0.5-313/orkbasecxx$ ./configure bash: ./configure: No such file or directory Any clue about what is wrong?
