Hello, 1.I'm interested in extending some other codec plugins for Oreka, such as: raw RTP which payload type:5, 34, and so on. but I am not sure where is the part of code which can implements the encode/decode function. 2.Can you point me to the best place in orkaudio's source code where I can implement the retrieval. If you could provide me with the class name and the function(s) when orkaudio starts/stops a retrieval, it would be very helpful! Thank you in advance. -- Jacky |

Hello! I'm thinking of using OREKA for integration with a call recording piece of software I have developed. So I have been testing OREKA out over the past few days and also looking at the source. I encountered a problem where when I dial from a softphone to an external hard phone, then I hang up before the other person has picked up, the tape extension remains as .MCF and there is no indication in the log files that this call has ended, i.e. there is just a start indication: 2007-07-17 14:27:04,131 INFO port:XXXX - #XXXX:XXXX: start and no corresponding stop. Is there a particular setting that will delete the .mcf automatically (if the call has ended before someone picked up) or is there another way OREKA notifies us that the call has ended? As this will integrate into my existing system, I need some form of real time indication from OREKA that notifies my system exactly when the call has started and exactly when a call has ended. This I can add to OREKA at a later date, I just want to make sure if OREKA provides this information before I dive into this project further. Hi Ravi, Actually, if you deploy orktrack and turn on reporting: <EnableReporting>true</EnableReporting> you will have the reporting log displaying starts and stops as sent to orktrack in orkaudio.log. You can then just play with log4cxx logging to direct this into a specific file if you need. Otherwise, the best place is Reporting.cpp. Henri _____ From: ore...@li... Subject: [Oreka-devel] Start/Stop recording functions Hi, I wish to log to a file whenever orkaudio starts or stops a recording, can you point me to the best place in orkaudio's source code where I should implement this logging? If you could provide me with the class name and the function(s) that are called when orkaudio starts/stops a recording, it would be very helpful! PS: I am aware of the tapelist log and it doesnt exactly fit the requirements. Thanks. _____ Has an email ever changed your life?
