What do you like best about Birdeye?

We’ve really enjoyed using Birdeye. The platform makes it so easy to keep up with customer reviews and respond quickly. I especially like the AI reply suggestions—they save us time while still letting us personalize our responses. What do you dislike about Birdeye?

One challenge we’ve noticed is that when a customer edits their review, it doesn’t always prompt or flag that the review has changed. It would be great if the system notified us consistently so we don’t miss important updates from our guests. Other than that, the experience has been very positive. What do you dislike about Birdeye?

While BirdEye offers powerful tools for managing reviews, there are a few areas that could be improved. The dashboard can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new users trying to navigate all the features. Occasionally, syncing issues with third-party platforms cause delays in review updates, which can be frustrating. I also wish there were more customization options for automated responses and reporting templates. That said, the support team is responsive, and the platform continues to evolve. What do you like best about Birdeye?

As a company managing 62 offices, Birdeye has been instrumental in centralizing and streamlining our online reputation management and customer feedback processes. What we like best is its robust capability to handle a large volume of locations with ease. We appreciate the centralized controls providing us the ability to manage review requests, surveys and monitor feedback across all of our offices across the country from a single dashboard, which helps eliminate fragmentation and ensure we maintain brand consistency. We rely on the automation of review requests via SMS and email after customer interactions which has significantly boosted our review volume. Similarly, the survey functionality allows us to gather feedback and gauge customer sentiment regarding our service, giving our team the information necessary to manage our many teams out in the field across multiple departments. We also rely on the detailed analytics and reporting features; we are able to use this data with Tableau providing our team with accurate visualizations of our collected data. We also appreciate the ability to push reviews to various platforms like Google and Facebook, and we benefit from the improved visibility on these platforms across all of our locations. What do you dislike about Birdeye?

While we consider Birdeye to offer incredible value to our business, there are a few areas where we have encountered challenges and see areas for improvement. The initial setup and onboarding required significant effort and coordination from multiple departments of our company for us to ensure consistent adoption across all our locations. We found Birdeye customer support to generally be helpful for the most part, however a more streamlined bulk onboarding process would be beneficial in our opinion. While their survey templates are good, having more advanced options for survey logic or design would be welcome as this would cater to very specific departmental needs without requiring custom development on our end. We like that they offer rest API data points, their documentation is in need of more attention, we would have appreciated use cases, and examples of implementation, I personally have reached out to customer service and their response was pretty vague, without providing any examples or direction, leaving our team to create our own solution. Thankfully their API is pretty straightforward and we appreciate that they provide this method of access to data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Birdeye?

I've used a handful of other platforms, but Birdeye seems to actually sync properly across all listing sites. I like how easy it is to use (even for an employee who isn't going to be in it consistently) and being able to sync any changes to our listings. There isn't any lagging in the UX like some other platforms have, which is nice when I just need to pop in for a quick change and then move on to my next task. What do you like best about Birdeye?

It is incredibly simple to manage reviews & responses when they are all consolidated. The AI response feature it phenomenal as well. It is a huge timesaver, and makes reputation management significantly quicker and easier. It is also the preferred method of response via my leadership team. I really appreciate the constant improvement & streamlining of the site. I wish I'd had this for previous businesses! What do you like best about Birdeye?

The most helpful thing about Birdeye is the calendar view! I like how you can see the week in full and see how often you are posting! I also like the AI recommended times to post for the most engagement, that is very helpful when trying to make sure you are reaching an audience. I check Birdeye everyday to keep an eye on our reviews and how we are doing with service. Our company has a survey that goes to all customers after they check out, which is a great way for us to get real time feedback. What do you dislike about Birdeye?

One thing I wish were easier is the ability to reply to reviews on every site. It would be so much more convenient if platforms like the Better Business Bureau, Trustpilot, and Best Company could be linked, so we wouldn’t have to go directly to each site to respond.
