What do you like best about Plivo?

Plivo is powerful and straight forward for building communication solutions. Plivo is cloud based which allows developer to integrate message and voice features into their website and apps. It doesn't matter whether you are just making small App or building something on more on enterprise level, Plivo provides a range of APIs that make it easy to add capabilities like call tracking, two factor authentication, voice calls and SMS. What do you like best about Plivo?

I find Plivo's setup process straightforward with comprehensive guides that make it easy to get started. I appreciate how it automates the calling process, significantly reducing manual labor and improving efficiency, especially during webinars. The integration with the 11 Labs Wise API is crucial for me, solving a lot of voice API challenges. I would definitely consider using it again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Plivo?

What I appreciate most about Plivo is its combination of technical reliability and excellent support. The API is intuitive and well-documented, which made our integration easier. What do you dislike about Plivo?

The administration panel could be more intuitive in some sections. Sometimes finding certain advanced settings requires some exploration. What do you like best about Plivo?

Plivo offers essentially the same service at half the price as their competitors (at the time of my switch). Good logs and transparency for SMS and customer support has been reachable for me when diagnosing reasons for some SMS messages not going through. Good SDK for implementation (I use Python but am just using the REST API for my implementation, it's been great). I don't recall any downtime for the features I use in the six years that I have been a customer of Plivo which is pretty fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Plivo?

At first I didn't think the success rates were as good as my setup on a competitor, HOWEVER after some tweaks on my account with support (they even helped me choose a good area code to send my texts), and helping my SMS messages stay compliant, success rates have become close to 100%. What do you like best about Plivo?

I tend to be a customer who only needs to meet when there is an issue. Plivo is graciously respectful of this preference. But, more to the point, Plivo is very responsive when I do need help. I've work with our current account representative for a few years now and he is well-education on our use case, our compliance practices, and our commitment to maintaining the viability of text messaging as a communication channel for our member-base outreach. What do you dislike about Plivo?

The UI could use some work. I find it un-intuitive. Also, search filtering on site. If I search for a set of calls and click into an individual result, I don't want to have to re-run the search when I return to the results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our integration received excellent and timely support from the Plivo team, which enabled us to scale it threefold, with nearly zero failures.

What do you like best about Plivo?

The customer service is by far the best quality of plivo/what makes them stand out. Specifically our 10DLC verification process was a MILLION times better than working with Twilio and we are forever grateful to Plivo for that. Other than that, the platform has been easy for our developers to use and straight forward. All of our use cases have been easily covered at a reasonable price. What do you dislike about Plivo?

We have used them for a while. When we first started using them it was out of necessity since we were seeing horrible delivery rates with Twilio out of nowhere and horrible customer service from Twilio (7 week response time on emails). Plivo had far better customer service/much smoother onboarding experience but some of the features felt a bit clunky in the portal/too basic.
