What do you like best about Conga Composer?

Make sure you have someone on the Conga Team train your staff and go through some sample quotes before implementing it to get all of the glitches/kinks sorted out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Conga Composer solving and how is that benefiting you?

We often experience glitchiness. Sometimes there are missing fields on the agreement. We have to do this weird thing: save> edit lines> save again to make the discounts show up. I don't know if this is a salesforce issue or a conga issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The product's error messages are quite vague, which means you can end up spending hours trying to identify the root cause of a document generation failure. Recommendations to others considering Conga Composer:

It's a good tool to save time when generating documents, especially for high volume sales teams. Can link together with DocuSign or use Conga's own signature tool to integrate e-sign as well. It's a bit hard to set up because it's a little bit technical, especially with the templates and integration with salesforce and making sure all your merge fields are set up properly, so some calls to support is absolutely needed. Pricing is ok but will increase year after year. Overall it's a good product and has saved our sales team lots of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Conga Composer?

Conga Composer has saved me a lot of drudgery work in terms of producing documents directly out of Salesforce. Quotes, invoices, contracts, or even special reports, you name it, I can generate beautiful-looking documents in a couple of clicks. Integration is seamless, and I appreciate how you can make nearly any field out of Salesforce get mapped into your templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Conga Composer?

The learning curve is certainly there, particularly if you're attempting to do sophisticated logic or draw in information from multiple related records. The UI looks old-fashioned, and occasionally you'll have to use trial and error in order to get things working just so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Conga Composer solving and how is that benefiting you?

Previously, creating and editing documents was prone to so many errors. Doing those tasks manually is a lot of work and very time-consuming. Now, with the collaboration of Conga, I am able to generate any form including memos automatically with one click on Salesforce which reduces errors and improves turnaround time. "Easy to use, extend and tonnes of customization"

What do you like best about Conga Composer?

The best thing i liked about is how easy it is to create a solution, customaize it using tonnes of parameters provided out of the box. It is so simple yet so powerful. From template creation to data merge to final delivery the whole process is easy to understand both for end users as well as for admins who are designing these solutions. the UI/UX is great and intuitive.

The customer support has been top notch. they are very responsive and able to understand your problem in first attempt without lot of back and forth.

No matter how big your documents are conga composer is able to handle whatever you throw at it and the latency is superb.

What do you dislike about Conga Composer?

I really don't see any downsides for conga composer and I am finding hard to fault anything. Probably one thing i could think of is improving data gathering UI through conga queries and have a really nice UI to pull in data from parent-child fields. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Conga composer has been a great tool with its easy and direct intergration into Salesforce has helped solve a business problem of building PDFs from the data we we generate in Salesforce to create multiply types of documents i.e Quotes, Tender documents Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
