What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?

Implementing HiBob has been one of the smoothest transitions we’ve had with an HR system. The setup and implementation process was straightforward, with excellent support along the way, making it stress-free for both HR and our wider team.

The platform itself is very user-friendly — both our office staff and trade crew find it easy to navigate. There is a great balance between functionality and simplicity giving our whole team the best of both worlds. This then allows us to manage everything from onboarding to performance and people data with little training required.

I believe the best feature is the multiple help areas available. Whether it’s the in-platform guides, Heartcore, HiCommunity, or direct support, answers are always easy to find and quick to access. This has really helped our team gain confidence in using the system.

Overall, HiBob has modernised the way we manage our people, making HR processes more efficient and accessible. I’d highly recommend it to any organisation looking for a flexible, intuitive HR platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?

As HiBob offers so much information and so many resources, it can be easy to go down a bit of a rabbit hole when you’re interested in a particular topic. What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?

I really appreciate how simple and straightforward HiBob is to use. Setting up and customising data fields is easy, which makes it flexible for our needs. The mobile app is also excellent – smooth, responsive, and really handy for working on the go. The customer support is excellent – they always respond promptly and are happy to jump on a call to talk things through.

What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?

The admin reporting tools are great for producing simple, straightforward reports and work really well for day-to-day needs. However, creating more bespoke reports – for example, around absence data – can be a bit more challenging. The platform is also less flexible when working within matrix management structures. I like how you can add your hobbies/interests and special things like birthday and how it reminds you of this. This helps me to feel part of the company and stay up to date. What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?

Being a new member to the company, Hi Bob made it really easy for me to know people and understand the org chart, so I can know who to reach out to when needed. Also since we are a global team it's nice that you can see where people are from and other information so you really get to know people a little bit more and can connect with people from the same place as you are. Furthermore it's good that you get to know when people joined the company and that's public so you know who is senior and can help you, at the same time that people understand that as a knew member you might have more questions. What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?

I haven't yet experienced any downside, however, despite appreciating the use of Hi Bob, I don't use it very frequently. Maybe for the HR is a tool they use on a daily basis, but as a user I only use when I have to reach out for some info, so I don't see it as an indispensable tool within the company. It would be nice to see more value in it as a regular user, even to suggest the tool for former or future coworkers. Also I don't see a integration with any tool, since we use slack a lot, it would be nice to be able to access it more easily without have to save the webpage bookmarked in the "favorites". What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?

HiBob is one of the best HRIS I've ever used! It's incredibly intuitive, user-friendly, and features a truly delightful design. Setting up workflows and processes for our entire team has been a breeze, and the customization options are fantastic at every step. As a Bob Admin, I always feel supported – whether through their excellent support materials, helpful videos, AI assistance, or the responsive Support team and dedicated CSM. What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?

HiBob's customization options are strong, but sometimes I hit limits. The good news is, these issues often get fixed in new updates. My biggest problem right now is having to make a separate report for every custom field. This takes too much time, and I hope they'll make it easier in the future. While HiBob is great overall, some parts of the platform, especially the compensation module, still have a way to go before they can fully support complex pay structures and processes. What do you like best about HiBob HRIS?

One of my favorite things about HiBob is the People Directory and Bio section. It makes it really easy to learn about coworkers, especially in a remote/hybrid environment. I’ve discovered shared interests and team milestones just by browsing! The Shoutouts and Claps features are also a fun way to stay engaged and celebrate wins without needing a formal meeting. What do you dislike about HiBob HRIS?

While I really like the platform, I’ve noticed that notifications can be a bit inconsistent—I sometimes get email alerts for updates but not in-app, or vice versa. Also, there are moments where profile data feels a bit buried, like if I want to double-check a past performance review or find a feedback thread. HiBob is user friendly, and we have a global workforce, some of whose first language isn't English. There are regular product updates, for example, this year calibration was introduced for the performance management cycle. HiBob is cost effective, as well. What I like best about HiBob is how it combines compliance and efficiency with culture and engagement. At Pophouse, we used Bob not only for core HR processes like learning and talent management, but also to create a sense of connection across teams. The interface feels modern and intuitive, which makes adoption easy, and I especially value the people-centric features — things like shoutouts, hobbies, and interest groups that help build belonging. From an HR perspective, I also appreciate how configurable it is: I could easily design onboarding workflows, implement a learning policy, and track talent development without heavy IT support. For me, the real strength of HiBob is that it’s more than a system of record — it’s a system that actively supports culture, growth, and employee experience.
