Hello,

I would like to have the following mutations/additions to Tutos. What do you 
all think?

-Expansion of some text fields (Job description, people's surname)
-When adding a notice make some links next to the reminder date with:
1 workday advance, 2 workday advance, 1 week advance, 2 week advance, 1 month 
advance, 2 month advance, 1 year advance.
-posibility to import vcard file
-maybe some sort of report generator so it's easier to add reports to the 
system (don't really know how but it's a rough idea :-)

description of hours spent)
-When adding a notice make some links next to the reminder date with 1 
workday advance, 2 workday advance, 1 week advance, 2 week advance, 1 month 
advance, 2 month advance, 1 year advance.
-posibility to import vcard file
-the var $lang['Description'] is used both to describe what was done when 
booking hours and when describing someones job description. However, in the 
Dutch language both terms are better translated in two separate than in one 
term.

No up to know there was no public discussion. I only collected the ideas.

Often there is no difference between projects and products. There is only one
thing that is typicall for products. Installations. And even there it is
possible to have "installations" of projects. That's the reason for TUTOS to
mention both Prodyct&Projects everywhere.

I think about a way to relate products to products. So you can handle
situations where you use something like an internal product (some basis) to
make a project (i.e. via customization of that product). For that we need
something like a subproject relation. Product A could be a subproject
(anybody has a better term ?) of Project B.  This will also allow some
automatism that marks Project B as buggy when there are open bugs in Product
A.

I'm still thinking about how to make it. One way without touching the
existing structure could be to use ProjectRoles A could be a "Supplier" of B
and B is a Customer of "A".

What do you think ?

This would also be useful for the resource objects. For example if you need a
meeting room or car for a task/project than it price will appear on the bill.

That's something where we will go equal with the big players in ERP/CRM like
Siebel :-)

Other Formats could be HTML or some XML.
The generated invoice should be saved (if wished) using the file obejcts.

I think on pure products this should be part of the "installation" object.

A lot of work :-) All the ideas are things I heart before in this or that
context by some users. I think a lot of users will benefit if we manage to
create these extensions.
