Hello all, I am vote for UTF-8 support... I use it currently, because my tutos installiation accessed by users that setup for your different languages for UI (english, german and russian). But in the same time all share tasks, bugs or notes, that must be readable independently of UI settings. Only one solution I find is use UTF-8... I recode all localization strings to utf-8 (only en, gr, ru) and almost work fine. But I have some small problems, like width of <pre> blocks. wordrap does not support utf-8, and width of task and other texts varies dependently of language. So for UTF-8, need to repalce these functions (and may be some other) to utf-8 comaptible. Is it will be useful? Sergey Korotkov |

Does this work with most out of the box installations ? Most TUTOS=20 installations run on "standard" configurations either from a Redhat/Suse = or whatever distribution or on a preconfigured and secured webhoster syst= em. But please send your patches to me. Gero |

Running PHP 4.01 so I changed $_SERVER TO $HTTP_SERVER_VARS and eliminated the primary errors reported by scheme.php. scheme.php gives the following output and I'm not sure what the errors are. Any help will be appreciated. It might be something as stupid as using the default dbuser of wwwrun. What is the unwanted output? The scheme output is shown below: ## Database configuration # $tutos[dbname][0] = "tutos"; # # The host and port where your apache server will find the database # $tutos[dbhost][0] = "localhost"; # # Port where the DB is listening # Postgres : 5432 # MySQL : 3306 $tutos[dbport][0] = 3306; # # The Database user who runs TUTOS # $tutos[dbuser][0] = "wwwrun"; # # The DB Users password # $tutos[dbpasswd][0] = ""; # # Type of the database # 1 = Postgres # 2 = MySQL # 3 = Oracle # 4 = Postgres 7.1 # 7 = Interbase # 8 = Oracle OCI connection # $tutos[dbtype][0] = 2; $tutos[dbalias][0] = "RBPLLC TUTOS database"; # # -------------------------- # $tutos[sessionpath] = "/tmp"; # # Logo for the headline # (Change this to your company logo or whatever you like) # Height will be resized to 40 pixels ! # logo and logolink are either relative to [tutosdir] or should start with "http:" # NOTE: a value in the database entry will override these settings !! # call adminpage -> select DB Name -> Modify -> change -> save # $tutos[logo] = "rbtutos.gif"; #$tutos[logo] = "http://sourceforge.net/sflogo.php?group_id=8047&type=1"; #$tutos[logolink] = "html/copyright.html"; $tutos[logolink] = "http://www.tutos.org"; # # The default timezone # This is the timezone where your database is running # For timezone names see near the end of this file. # $tutos[defaultTZ] = "America/Chicago"; # # Proxy Definition # # if your server (that one running the scripts) needs # an proxy to access outside world # (leave hostname empty in no proxy is needed) # $tutos[proxyhost] = ""; $tutos[proxyport] = 3128; # # Maximum number of rows to show in overviews # 15 (default) # $tutos[maxshow] = 15; # # Maximum number of rows to show in detail pages (before making an # overview link).
