-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi all, I recently discovered TUTOS, which I find great, and want to help make greater and greater. I'm C software Engineer currently discovering and loving PHP. I am thinking of adding a skills table and management ( much simple like the one of sourceforge at the beginning ). Another thing I'm needing for myself is a new kind of cyclic appointment : Monthly on the same day of week of month. ( ie first thursday of the first week of the month ). I have many appointments of that kind ( My LUG for example ). -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+OEzR33a3jGkLTgcRAvdMAJ9kx0uNLgwtELD//NlTPlGK37AASACg5ixS NnMYvD6x1RYIlZFoKxfSFns=3D =3DhCAf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi I recently made a checkout of tutos. As you can see I have also included the TUTOS development mailing list. To me it is not entirely clear what you want to acomplish with this message. I do not understand what you ask that should be possible. -If you are going to adopt TUTOS within your company and would like to contribute to the software you are most welcome to do so. You'll find the group of TUTOS developers a kind and responsive group to work with (in my humble opinion). Simply register yourself at the sourceforge website and ask the TUTOS project manager to grant you write access to the source tree. -Maybe you are interested in hiring one of the developers to extent TUTOS to fit your needs better. Since I also have a small firm that specialises in Linux and Open Source Consultancy I would be one of the people interested in doing so. Please mail me again and we can discuss this privately. -And maybe you came across my name and assumed that I was the project manager for TUTOS. In that case I must say that this role is handled (very well) by Gero Kohnert <gok...@us...>. I am just one of the few people that from time to time contribute to the program (as much as time permits). I hope this answer helps you. kind regards, -- Jeroen Baten | EMAIL : JB...@I2... ____ _ __ | web : www.i2rs.nl | )|_)(_ | tel : +31 (0)30 221 00 11 _|_/_| \__) | fax : +31 (0)30 220 31 91 Kometenlaan 26, 3721 JT, Bilthoven, the Netherlands |

Hi, my name is Volker Graubaum and I have been a satisified Tutos-User for quite some time now. Recently, one of my universty-seminars began facilitating Tutos as well, thus our lecturers have been exposed to the program as well. Our current curriculum features one unit called "groupware", and some of us would like to develop a module or extension for Tutos. It is our aim to create something useful and thus would like to ask if you have any suggestions as to needed additions for Tutos. After having a brief look at the cvs version, I had to canvel my plans for a central document management. So we're asking how we could help you - preferably using mostly PHP. :-) > A good test (as soon as I have made the changes) is if someone can > create a auth module that uses some forum > software like PHPNuke for authentification of tutos users. (Just as a > proof of concept) Is this still an issue? Alternatively, one could look into the "sync mechanism to other calendars" or the support of XML. Are there specifications available for the last point? I was also thinking of mail-encryption. A friend of mine requires this for his communication with his customers; and I was wondering whether there is further need for this feature. I am also interested in further ideas or suggestions. I am unable to say whethere there will be one, or maybe even four single projects developing for Tutos; still I would like to be able to present possible topics. In that context, I would also be interested in a buisness presentation of Tutos, targeted at the management level. greetings Volker |

Hi Erik, Tutos 1.1 adds many new features & improvements, ex.: the improved layout possibilities. We need to do more tests & bug hunting before it is released as a stable version. The date depends on the Tutos community and should be before March 1st 2003. If you have some technical resources and you are not in a hurry for a "production site", please use the CVS (1.1) version during your test/implantation and help us with the bug reporting. This will speed up the 1.1 release and you can start using the cool new features. Hi. This question might have been answered already; the archives are unavailable so I'm unable to check. I'm running tutos 1.0.20021113, PHP 4.1.2 on RedHat 7.2 (x86). I have created a project and I want to "Add Document." I fill out all fields but when I submit (by pressing the "Enter" button) the same page is returned to me, now with three extra lines at the top saying (in all red letters): Please fill the Reference field Please fill the original Name field Please fill the original Name field Is this a configuration issues or is this a bug? Thanks for any replies, Erik Enge Software Engineer Professional Reviews Inc. |
