Never mind, this was one of the items on your patch-list! As anybody seemed to complain about such an idea, I've commited my work, as you may have noticed. To build the package: $ dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -us -uc Do that on the tutos top dir. You will then find the tutos deb package updir. May be you'll have to rename the tutos topdir to something like tutos-0.0.20020606, or we could begin tutos versioning and name it as tutos-0.x. May be the tutos site could offer the .deb file for download ? -- Dimitri. http://tapoueh.free.fr « Le mieux est l'ennemi du bien » |

Hello there, Since here, at my company, we widely use debian as stations and servers OS, I've packages tutos for this distribution. So I needed to modify the Makefile, adding an 'install' target. As it now will probably only work with GNU Make, and seeing that the install target is debian specific, I'd like to ask you wether or not to merge it with current Tutos CVS Makefile. There also would be a 'debian' subdir on top of the project. Whatever the decision, I think we could provide a debian tutos package, not attached here : 1.1M tutos_0.0.20020606-1_i386.deb If we decide to do that (tutos packaging) I suppose we could also start a more conventionnal version numbering policy (as in 0.1, 0.2, 1.0...). -- Dimitri. http://tapoueh.free.fr Les trous noirs sont les endroits ou Dieu divisa par zero. |

Hi list, here some notes on the latest changes in CVS. Nearly ll files where touched by me in the last couple of days. The result: TUTOS will now (hopefully) run with the PHP setting "register_global=3DOf= f"=20 This is the standard setting with the newer versions of PHP that spread=20 around more and more and that have resulted in a lot of support work for = all=20 the pur soul out there who do not know that TUTOS expected something othe= r. The other changes are (snipplet of ChangeLog) June 12 2002 =09* New Indicating the sort order on overview pages =09* Invoices will show task related timetracking June 11 2002 =09* Changed nearly all files in order to run with register_gloabls =09 set to Off June 10 2002 =09* new Timerecord function will create timetrack entries with start =09 and end timestamp. (See link on mytutos page) So, as always please test (_very_ intensive) the changes and if possible=20 please do set your register_globals to Off for these tests. Create insert and delete all type of TUTOS objects (All provided values=20 should appear in the created objects) On Overviews please sort in different orders and limit the search on spec= ific=20 values. Have fun and generate fedback Gero |
