"Gusto helps me keep track of everything I need"
What do you like best about Gusto?

The most helpful thing about Gusto, in my opinion, is the interface. It is easy to navigate and I am never confused about where my information is located or how current it is. My homepage has links to everything I need and I always know where to go to find my content. It's also great to be able to download things like paystubs. Speaking of paystubs, I love that a downloaded paystub actually looks like a document and not a printed web page.

The customer support is great as well. I have had to ask a few questions over my time using the system, and I always get a quick and detailed response. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

There isn't really anything I don't like about Gusto. I would say the multi-factor authentication can seem like "too many" steps, but I really appreciate the added level of security when it comes to my personal information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very user-friendly interface, easy to find information and make changes"
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto's interface is well-designed, intuitive, and easy-to-use. The portal contains a ton of information, but it's easy to navigate and, importantly, contains all the external links to everything that I might need (paycheck, 401(k), health insurance, etc.), so it's a one-stop-shop when I need to review or update any of this information. The graphics are cute, and the app is just as easy to use as the website. The automatic emails to notify when tax documents are available, it's payday, etc., are helpful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I don't have anything specific I dislike about Gusto. I'm not sure if this is on the Gusto side on or for my organization specifically, but it would be nice to disable automatic 401(k) contributions for bonuses and one-time-payments (I personally would prefer to just receive my bonus in full), but that's a small thing. "As a user, Gusto is reasonably simple and easy to use"
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto is reasonably simple and easy to use, with a few caveats. I like that I can see the most relevant information about paychecks, pay periods, and direct deposit information. Being able to turn off the debit card is a nice feature. The comparison chart (month-by-month) is a helpful feature. Also, having a documents repository for docs related to payroll is useful (and necessary). The mobile app works pretty much the same as the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

While this is not a "strong" dislike, it would be helpful for Gusto to provide a more user-friendly experience on the initial dashboard. For example, it takes too many clicks to access something as simple as recent payment history. And it is a bit confusing as to how to edit paycheck splits. I'd like to be able to set a length for login sessions because it logs you out unexpectedly after a few minutes, which is aggravating if you are doing some other related task. Finally, I am not a big fan of animations, so would prefer to have the option to turn those off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Go for the Gusto!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I like that Gusto is super user-friendly and keeps info easily accessible. It's so easy to figure out and learn how to use. It's practical and not overly complex to operate. When I requested time off, my request history was right there to show I'd requested the same day last year, my son's birthday! So cool!! I also love the access to my wallet on the go. I can see what's available in no time. The app's speed and service is always reliable and readily available. I can't think of one time that it hasn't opened up immediately. Clair is an absolute God-send!!! When this option was introduced, it blended perfectly, merging budgeting and spending into one seamless click. It was the exact upgrade Gusto needed! I couldn't believe how simple and easy it was to use. The step by step instructions are straightforward and streamlined, making it easy to try. It has all the support you need right there at your fingertips! The option for instant advances is genius! Up-to-date technology that's trending plus features that even a novice can manage with ease. This is the best app I've used to keep up with hours, pay, and benefits. The savings goals and budgeting tools offer so much more than the basic payroll debit account. The 2-factor authentication assures me that my information is secure. I love how the facial recognition feature has been integrated. I like an alternative to typing a password every time to sign in. What do you dislike about Gusto?

The only down side for me is from the app side. I wish there were an option to clock in from the app rather than exclusively going through an internet browser. I'm here for it whenever it's there! I'd use it everyday! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Easy, Effective, and Comprehensive"
What do you like best about Gusto?

In a pinch, I was able to fully set up Gusto in less than an hour and run payroll the same week. Since running payroll on it for several months I am continued to be impressed with how easy the system is to use and appreciate the reminders it sends out. Further, with Mineral, the HR Software, I have been able to ensure compliance with different situations I have faced as an employer. The platform, overall, is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I would like some more personalized, consultative service, but have to say that when I had questions I was easily able to get them all answered very efficiently. I know there is an option for a higher tier of service that what I subscribed to that might offer this more personal touch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Reliable, and Stress-Free Payroll Solution"
What do you like best about Gusto?

What I like best about Gusto is how easy it makes running payroll. The platform is clean and intuitive, with automated tax filings and direct deposit that save me hours each month. Employees really appreciate the self-service portal where they can onboard, access pay stubs, and update personal details without needing to go through HR. Integrations with tools like QuickBooks also help keep everything synced, making payroll and compliance stress-free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

Customer support can be slow to respond during busy times like year-end or tax season. Reporting features could also be more customizable for businesses that want deeper insights. Pricing feels a little high for very small teams, and it would be nice if the platform had stronger international payroll support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing Payroll and HR support Service Team"
What do you like best about Gusto?

Working with Gusto has been an enlightening and rewarding experience. It's evident that they value customer feedback by taking the time to understand our business operations through surveys. Their commitment to improving their service to make payroll tasks more manageable is commendable. As a user, I absolutely love how Gusto has streamlined the payroll process, making my job significantly easier. Their dedication to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement shines through in their product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

If you miss even one deadline for payroll service, you're penalized by months of 4 day payroll response weeks. So far, that's the only down side. It's far better than Paychex, or a few of the others i've worked with. There

s no hidden costs, no outrageous fees. What they say they charge. They actually charge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Payroll Platform- simple and easy to use."
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto has a pretty clean and modern UI, making it easy to navigate. Clocking in and out is very simple, which is great for both employees and managers. It clearly displays the pay period, making it convenient to track hours and understand upcoming paydays. The intuitive design reduces confusion and saves time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

My account keeps getting logged out unexpectedly. This disrupts the workflow and can be particularly annoying when I’m in the middle of reviewing sensitive payroll information. I wish there were more session control options or better login stability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto is great for our small business!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

As general manager of our small business I enjoy the simplicity and easy to navigate interface provided by Gusto. While juggling many tasks for our company, it is nice to have a consistent system to help run payroll, approve time off, and track benefits. Our technicians use the app daily to clock in and out, take lunches, and leave notes if punches are missed or incorrect. The notes on punches helps me a ton when running payroll and checking their hours. I also really enjoy how you can track their location on the punches, as we require our team to visit the office/shop when punching in/out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

It often has a hard time loading for some technicians to clock in and out. They may be logged fully out when it does finally load, or be forced to communicate with me to enter their times in manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
