"Gusto In A Nutshell"
What do you like best about Gusto?

It's got a really intuitive and simple design, and works really smoothly on both the web and especially the mobile version, which is hard to find compared to other payroll/employee apps. It does a great job of tracking upcoming paycheck dates based on past paydays from that employer, and will sometimes show you a sneak peek at the amount you'll be earning the day before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I wish more of the web features (goal building, charity donation, more/extended information about pay and documents) were available on the app. For example, I needed to do a midseason review form but not only was it unavailable to do on the app, there was no indication that I had a pending document due until I logged in on the web. "Gusto has been an amazing product to use for all HR activities"
What do you like best about Gusto?

The best part about Gusto is that it's extremely user friendly. I've had to use different products at former employers and it was always way more difficult than it should have been to navigate the application and find what I was searching for. Gusto is the exact opposite. I rarely have to spend more than a minute looking for the required information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

To be completely honest, I'm not sure if there is anything that I dislike about Gusto up to this point. I've been using the application for the past two years and it was very easy to learn and I've enjoyed it thoroughly. I would absolutely recommend Gusto to anyone looking for a new platform to handle all HR activities for employees (requesting PTO days, viewing paystubs, downloading W-2 forms, etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and user friendly"
What do you like best about Gusto?

Money matters are inherently stressful for many, so any company that can make these issues easier to navigate gets a "yes" in my book. I have to use Gusto several times a week, to log hours for my contract IBCLC job. From the very first day of use, it was for me to understand this platform. Everything is well organized, easy to read, and easy to find. The layout looks clean and open, which feels relaxing for my eyes and mind. I've never struggled to find what I was looking for, or do what I needed to do. Gusto makes completing my taxes as an independent contractor a breeze. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I haven't had any complaints or issues using this platform. I've never had to contact customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"So far, so good!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I really appreciate how easy it is to submit mileage reimbursements and request time off through Gusto. Both features are super intuitive and save me time compared to other systems I’ve used in the past. It’s nice not having to jump through hoops for basic tasks. What do you dislike about Gusto?

Since my pay is commission-based, I like to keep an eye on my total earnings throughout the year. With Gusto, it takes a few too many clicks to find my year-to-date gross pay. It’s not a dealbreaker, but a quicker way to view that info- maybe right on the dashboard-would be really helpful. Our last payroll software had a pie chart showing earnings breakdowns right on the login page, and I really liked having that visual snapshot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"gUSTO MAKES RUNNING PAYROLL SIMPLE"
What do you like best about Gusto?

As an engineer, I really appreciate how Gusto simplifies payroll without needing an HR background.

The platform handles all the behind-the-scenes complexity like tax filings, direct deposits, and compliance so I can focus on my actual work. It’s clean, efficient, and just works. I don’t have to waste time figuring out HR processes, which is a huge win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

While the platform is super user-friendly, sometimes I find it a bit too rigid especially when I want to automate or integrate certain workflows. A bit more flexibility or API access for non-HR users like me would be great. That said, it still gets the job done really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Recommended"
What do you like best about Gusto?

The upsides of Gusto for me are I can see my hours any time I need to. Whether I'm at the office, at home, or traveling I can see my hours, my paystubs and my spending account all in one convenient place. I have been able to benefit from being able to deposit my check into a Gusto spending account and I get paid 2 days earlier than my coworkers. I like how we can see a detailed breakdown of our hours on the website! I wish the app had the same feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

Just a few things I don't like about Gusto are the fees that are charged to move money from my Gusto account to my outside accounts, and the high fees for instant deposit. I used the on demand pay option so much that it kept me in a bit of a financial bind when it was payday. That is an optional service, however, I wish there was an option to turn it off or deny the option. If there is an option for that I would definitely use it and this would not be an issue I have with the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto streamlines my time tracking experience"
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto is simple and straightforward to use; it can house all necessary information for me to report to my supervisors in order to get paid correctly and on time. I have never had a problem managing my time working through Gusto every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I have had some little gripes with the user experience of getting onto Gusto. Unfortunately, Gusto doesn't allow for independent contractors to use the mobile app which means I have to clock in and out from my browser every day if I'm not at my computer. I also always have to do two-factor authentication over text messaging when on my work computer, even though I always select 'remember this device'. It's probably an issue on my end because it is not a personal computer, but worth mentioning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Incredibly User Friendly, Amazing Platform!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

Gusto has been very easy to use since I have been in it. It is super simple to clock in and out, and even easier to make adjustments when you mess up a time punch. You can go back in and adjust it without making a huge fuss. Putting in time off is very easy as well. I can easily integrate my days off from my calendar to Gusto to get it approved. Having a tool like this that I use every work day has made my life a lot easier. I also like the cool little features where you can preview your check. There is also tools to help you budget! Overall I think the desktop version and mobile app are very well rounded. My coworkers and I find it extremely intuitive every time we use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

One thing I am not a huge fan of is sometimes I have difficulties with it registering my Google login. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Satisfied with my gusto experience so far!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I have been working for a small company who uses Gusto, and I got to say I have been loving the app. The layout is pretty easy to understand and the simplicity of its features make it really user friendly, even with people who do not consider themselves tech savvy. One of the things I enjoy most about the app is the "widgets" through the app that keep the most important information highlighted. A great example of this is the "Year-to-Date" widget, which shows general information about the income earned so far in the year, federal and state taxes, etc.

I also love its organization with all my paychecks and their breakdown. Gusto even has a sections with tax documents. One can even edit information through the app without the need to submit forms, i thought that was pretty neat! I use it almost every week to make sure I am staying on track with my finances and future payments. They do have a costumer support, but I haven't used it because there has been no need. Overall, I've had an amazing experience with Gusto! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

I actually haven't encounter any significant things I dislike about the app to mention it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gusto is a great choice for easy, streamlined payroll processing!"
What do you like best about Gusto?

I love that Gusto is simple and easy to use. The interface flows nicely and it always being tweaked. We use Crewtracks to track our field time, so with a simple export I can enter payroll totals in Gusto in just a few minutes. This works well with my tight schedule, especially on weekly payroll days! In almost 4 years of use, I haven't had to call Gusto more than a handful of times, but Customer Service is always quick to respond and very helpful as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gusto?

If I had to have a complaint, it would mirror what I already said. The interface is always being tweaked. Sometimes things are changed that I really wish they wouldn't change, not a deal breaker though! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
