"User friendly game changer that saves my mental bandwidth"
What do you like best about Fathom?

This tool is extremely user-friendly, from its quick and straightforward setup to the minimal steps required for use. It eliminates the hassle I would normally expect from a process that could easily become overwhelming. As I'm currently going through a lot of onboarding at my new job, it allows me to stay focused during meetings without the stress of trying to remember every detail. I use it several times a day now and I would be so brain dead without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

It's not compatible with every meeting program. For some of my meetings, I use a program that needs extra setup steps before it will integrate properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A genuine game changer!"
What do you like best about Fathom?

After 25 years of recruitment and having used little more than a pen, paper and phone I started my own business and came across Fathom on a client meeting.

Exactly what I have always needed. You come off a Teams/ Zoom with loads of scribbled notes and weren't really listening to what was being said, the notes are written so badly you then can't read them. Or, you listen intently and make no notes then after the call you have forgotten 95% of what was said.

Fathom solves both of these problems and gives me a summary I can then save on my CRM.

It automatically joins my Teams meetings and sends the person I am speaking with a pre-warning that an AI notetaker is being used.

10/10 for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

Some of the features are only available on paid subscription but I guess you have software to sell, we can't have all the good stuff for free :)) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The BEST AI Notetaker EVER Made!!!!!"
What do you like best about Fathom?

The 100% accuracy of the notes taken even when there is a bad internet connection, or someone with a heavy accent - Fathom still does the job & amazingly so!

Replay functionality is amazing too, perfectly recap everything you discussed in the meeting when you need a refresher.

Fathom is also amazing when setting up, very easy to create an account and use it from there! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

There is nothing to dislike about Fathom, honestly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Game-Changer for Project Management"
What do you like best about Fathom?

As a project manager working with a large team of software engineers and UX designers, staying on top of meetings, discussions, and action items is crucial to keeping projects on track. Fathom has become an indispensable part of my workflow. I use it daily.

The ability to record meetings, generate accurate transcripts, and receive clear, structured summaries has significantly improved how I manage communication and documentation across the team. Instead of scrambling to take notes during high-stakes discussions, I can stay fully engaged in the conversation knowing Fathom is capturing everything.

One of the standout benefits for me is how easily I can convert meeting takeaways into Jira tickets. The clarity and organization of Fathom’s summaries help me extract the key decisions, requirements, and action items without having to rewatch entire meetings or dig through messy notes.

It’s also helped improve transparency and alignment across the team. Engineers and designers can refer back to transcripts or meeting highlights if they need context or clarification — which reduces back-and-forth and miscommunication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

I have to take an extra step of exporting the meeting transcript to Google Docs and then running it through Claude to get the best insights from my meetings. It would be great if Claude was somehow integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Can't live without this now!"
What do you like best about Fathom?

I love Fathom! For starters, it's so simple to set up and it's so simple to use, even if you're a non-techy person. I've tried other AI notetakers, and they were complex, fiddly and annoying to use! And I'm pretty good with tech! Fathom is so much easier and saves me a ton of time.

I love how quickly I get access to the call recording and notes. Literally within a second of the call finishing! This has been a game-changer for me time-wise, as in the past, I had to wait for the Zoom call to download, and then I had to upload it to my own system, which sometimes takes hours, depending on my internet speed.

The call notes and transcript are fantastic! I've lost count of the number of times I've said something on a call that would be a brilliant piece of content or had great ideas. Things that were brilliant in the moment. But then, either forgot them right after the call or the moment was lost.

But with Fathom, having the call notes means I can be fully present on the calls and not have to worry about taking a bunch of notes. Plus, I can use the call notes and summary to repurpose and turn things I mentioned on the call into content pieces (of course, I never use any personal or private information from calls!).

I highly recommend Fathom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

Honestly, there isn't anything I don't like about Fathom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accurate Time Saver. Search Feature with Timestamps is Brilliant."
What do you like best about Fathom?

Fathom is a game changer for meeting notes. It allows us to be fully engaged with the person who is talking, and not waste time afterward reviewing someone else's notes for accuracy. Our favorite feature with the teams plan is being able to create folders by client and having all recorded meetings in that folder. We can easily search the content to find out when we talked about a particular topic and even jump to that specific time stamp on the meeting for more context and tone. One of the most practical uses of AI that doesn't require "prompt engineering" to work right the first time. Customer support is super responsive, and it only took a few minutes to tweak the settings to my liking. Join their intro webinar to learn the basics. Super helpful. We haven't integrated anything yet so I can't speak to that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

I wish I could update the transcript manually if I noticed a typo. But that's so infrequent, so it's not a major concern at this point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Captures - Easy Summaries"
What do you like best about Fathom?

Fathom is excellent at identifying the key points during meetings. Since our company often has unstructured meetings, I appreciate how well it captures what truly matters. I also find the reminder to "start recording" at the beginning of each meeting very helpful. Overall, Fathom provides a thorough recap, reliable recording, accurate transcription, and a useful action list, regardless of the meeting style or type. Working in the Electrical Engineering field, I've noticed it handles our specific acronyms and part names impressively well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

Some of the features are not particularly relevant to my needs. For instance, the option to create teams and automatically send out meeting recaps does not fit well with my role as an executive assistant at a smaller manufacturing company. I often meet with various departments and need to share meeting details only with the appropriate individuals. It's important to me that high-level information is not accessible to just anyone. Fortunately, this feature can be disabled if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Make Your Life Easier Now!"
What do you like best about Fathom?

The notes offered by Fathom are great! They somehow leave out the social banter and only record the essential notes and action items. I like that it does attempt to indicate specific action items and responsible parties. I also like the live coaching features that will tell me when I'm monologuing. I use it consistently every day now and it saves hours of my time! It integrates well with my Outlook and Zoom meetings, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

The set-up process was relatively easy, though there was a minor bump or two in figuring out how to configure settings to do what I wanted with the resulting products. However, the support is great and they were reaching out to me before I was reaching out to them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very Efficient and Useful on a Daily Basis!"
What do you like best about Fathom?

What I like best about Fathom is how effortlessly it captures and summarizes every important detail from our meetings. It removes the need for manual note-taking, so our team can stay fully engaged in discussions. The summaries are clear, accurate, and ready to share — it’s like having a dedicated assistant who never misses a thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

Honestly, there’s very little to dislike about Fathom. It works seamlessly and consistently delivers great results. If anything, I’d just love to see even more integrations in the future — but overall, it’s been an outstanding tool for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Game-changing tool that makes my sales calls effortless"
What do you like best about Fathom?

Fathom saves me an incredible amount of time by automatically capturing, transcribing, and summarizing every sales call. I no longer have to take frantic notes — I can stay fully present with the prospect knowing everything is being recorded and highlighted for me. The summaries are clear, actionable, and easy to share with my team, which makes follow-ups seamless. It also helps me identify patterns in conversations so I can continuously improve my pitch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fathom?

There isn’t much to dislike. Occasionally I’ll notice small transcription errors or that certain niche industry terms aren’t always captured perfectly, but the overall meaning is always clear. I’d love to see even more integrations in the future so the workflow is completely frictionless across all the tools I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
