"Exactly what my team needed to get on track managing projects and tasks!"
What do you like best about Asana?

I chose Asana over some competitors because the free version had list view, which seemed more intuitive. Asana makes it easy to add new projects, tasks, and details (including links, attachments, etc.) so that everything for the project is in one place. Much easier to work with than the spreadsheet and list system that we had before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Some of the best features require the paid version. There are a few features that I would use in the paid version, but a lot of the features are not needed. If there was an option for add-ons or a low-tier package that just included a few essentials, that would be better for my budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Tool for Managing Projects and Staying Organized"
What do you like best about Asana?

I really appreciate how this tool allows me to work seamlessly across different projects, manage my own to-do lists, and help both myself and others stay on track with our deliverables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I don't dislike anything! I think the platform is evolving and always improving. I appreciate all the new AI tools that allow us to set up workflows that make even more of our project tasks automated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Thanks to ASANA- Helped me to Manage critical Strategic Projects"
What do you like best about Asana?

As someone who is deeply involved in driving strategic projects at BCH Electric, I have found that ASANA has truly transformed the way I work.

What I appreciate most is the AI-powered efficiency. The smart suggestions and task automation features save me hours every week, making it feel as though I have a digital co-pilot anticipating my next move. The structured documentation is another standout aspect—every project, task, and conversation is organized in one place, eliminating the need to chase updates across emails or chats. Everything is easy to find and track.

Managing workflows is also straightforward, especially with the ability to create custom rules. ASANA brings clarity and fosters collaboration, ensuring that cross-functional dependencies and stakeholder timelines are visible so every contributor remains aligned and accountable. The customer support is excellent, with ASANA partners always ready to help. Using the tool daily has made my entire workflow much smoother. Integration and implementation are consistently quick and easy as well.

For anyone managing multiple projects, deadlines, or teams, I highly recommend incorporating ASANA into your workflow. It’s more than just a tracker—it’s a true strategic enabler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

A few challenges still impact the overall experience. The frequent need to create customized projects, particularly when uploading large amounts of data through files, can become quite tedious. Additionally, the rules and filters available often do not adequately support complex workflows or the specific needs of different teams. Handling bulk data is also less seamless than expected and does not offer the flexibility required for enterprise-level operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is ok, but not much customization available - too many notifications"
What do you like best about Asana?

Our whole team is on it, so it is a way to track our histories. I also think the AI is helpful in identifying where the unread notifications are or if there are comments that you still need to respond to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

My team is really struggling to get the most out of this and I think it is partially because someone set it up wrong. But we are having to use the same workflows for creative and non creative use and there are so many different needs for each of those different marketing functions. Our team is set up like a project and its just bad. It is difficult to track stuff and I actually think we've over complicated the whole deal.

Also, the worst part is we have a ton of automations running and I get a notification about every single one. Those updates are treated like a comment tagging you so you cant filter them out without losing highly valuable notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Reliable Partner for Streamlined Project Management and Team Collaboration"
What do you like best about Asana?

Asana has become our team’s go-to space for getting things done. I love how visual and flexible it is — whether it’s managing sprint boards, planning campaigns, or tracking deliverables, everything just flows. The ability to switch between board, list, and timeline views helps everyone work the way they prefer. The little things, like task dependencies, automation rules, and reminders, really take the pressure off remembering everything manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

It can feel a bit heavy when we have massive projects with tons of subtasks — sometimes it lags a little. I also wish the reporting dashboards were more customizable for quick leadership insights. But honestly, these are minor compared to how much clarity it brings to our daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Asana May Work for Some"
What do you like best about Asana?

From a supervisor's standpoint, it is an easy way to see the progress of tasks or projects. It also allows you to see who is completing their assigned tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Our intent was to have the ability to create a team within Asana, post projects and tasks, and that way everyone can see who is doing what and where they're at in the process. Unfortunately, if you don't tag each team member individually for each udpate or comment, the entire team cannot see it.

Also, I have one department that has two coordinators. I cannot assign a project to both team members. You can only assign one person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Worst ever customer experience"
What do you like best about Asana?

The software is very flexible and intuitive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I’ve had the worst customer care and experience of my 15 year career. I liked the look of the platform, so I wanted to pay for 1 month on the lowest tier to give it a shot. I selected that, but at point of purchase something clearly went wrong. I was charged 75£ and put on some kind of legacy package which wasn’t explained to me. Not only was I charged this large amount, I was still unable to use most of the features I wanted to try because I was stuck behind a paywall, even despite the large payment.

I reached out to the support team who said there was nothing they could do because of Asana policy. I feel like I was conned or misguided into purchasing something I didn’t need, and barely even works. The best they could offer was two months free. - something that is useless to me given that I will definitely never be using Asana after the experience I’ve had so far.

I accepted the two free months because, why not? But then two weeks later, I was charged another £30! I reached out to the support team and they said they couldn’t do anything about that either.

I feel like I have been robbed and I’m genuinely considering starting a legal process. Not because I’m furious, which I am, but because this sort of practice is practically theft.

I enjoyed the product for the 1 day I was using it, but the rest has been diabolical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Asana as a Project Manager in Branding"
What do you like best about Asana?

I love how Asana brings clarity to chaos. It makes it so much easier to keep everyone on the same page, celebrate progress, and spot roadblocks early. Plus, it’s intuitive enough that even non-techy teammates can jump right in — which is huge for collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

My only real challenge with Asana is that it can get cluttered fast if everyone isn’t using it the same way. When the team is aligned on process, it’s magic — but it definitely takes intentional setup and maintenance to keep everything feeling clear and manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A reliable tool for managing projects and team collaboration"
What do you like best about Asana?

Asana makes it very easy to keep track of tasks and deadlines. The interface is clean and user friendly, so assigning tasks and monitoring progress is smooth. I like that it integrates well with tools like Slack and Google Drive, which saves time. The timeline and Gantt chart features are very useful for project managers, they help in visualising the entire workflow clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

When I first started using Asana, there was no clear introduction or walkthrough about how to use it or how to toggle between different projects, which made the learning curve a bit tricky. It does get simpler with time, but some onboarding guidance would really help new users. Another thing that bothers me is the notifications—when someone comments on ongoing projects, I get alerts on the app (which is fine), but I also get duplicate notifications in Gmail, which feels unnecessary and a bit annoying. "Great for Tracking Cases, but Can Be Slow to Refresh"
What do you like best about Asana?

Asana has been very helpful in allowing me to keep track of the cases I work on. Whether a case is still pending or already resolved, I can view and organize them into different categories. This makes it easy for stakeholders to see what the team has accomplished each day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

The interface can be a bit slow to refresh, likely because so many people are using it at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Asana has been an excellent tool for managing multiple projects."
What do you like best about Asana?

What I like best about Asana is that it helps keep me organized while managing multiple projects at the same time. It’s very user-friendly, allowing me to easily track many tasks within each project, organize projects into folders, and seamlessly share them with my manager and colleagues. user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

The only downside I’ve noticed is receiving too many notifications at times, but it’s a small issue compared to the overall benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
