What I like best about DualEntry is its ability to process a huge number of data at the same time without glitching or overloading. It was also impressive how smooth the platform integrations were that it felt like they were already part of the software itself - like BambooHR for example, which our company uses primarily for our business needs. I admit that the software can be overwhelming at first, seeing the interface that is unfamiliar to the eyes with so much data to take in, but what are businesses without a little challenge? DualEntry has completely transformed how our finance team handles accounting. If you're using tools like Zelt, Oracle HCM, Payfit, IntelliHR, or Salesforce, DualEntry ties it all together beautifully. It’s allowed our finance and HR teams to collaborate more strategically and focus on what matters.. My collague who recommended me DualEntry told me they also use Gusto, Hubspot, Brex, Salesforce, Vertex, Team Pay, Square Payments and DualEntry can integrate with all of them which is amazing!!

What I like is the built-in checks. Every entry has a match, so it’s harder to miss something or let an error slip through. It feels like a safety net and you worries to have errors in entries reduces. Using dualentry is good however, you still need to understand the basic fundamentals of accounting to know deeper whether the transaction is unusual or messy. It can be overwhelming if you don't have a little background in accounting. One small mistake can throw everything off, which is frustrating when you just want to move fast. What I like best about DualEntry is its superb user interface. It has the essential Accounting processes in place like General Ledger, Cash, AR/AP, Tax Management, Purchasing, Revenue recognition, Financial Planning and many more. It enables faster and seamless closing processes. I also like the dashboard which shows real-time summaries of financial metrics. And I also find another game-changing aspect which is its integration capabilities. It can be integrated to various softwares such as Bill.com, Ramp, Expensive for AP; Stripe and Zuora for AR, BambooHR and Gusto for HRIS and many more others (13, 000 connections). I think one of the downsides is the lack of guidance for new users. It would be better if there are tutorials on how to use the various features. Also, the Accounting copilot needs improvement as it sometimes do not generate the expected responses. In addition, I think it is better if the users can customize the metrics in the dashboard (e.g.creation of Net Profit After Tax, Free Cash flow etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DualEntry just made sense right out of the gate. It connected with the systems we already use, and the setup didn’t slow anyone down. Pulling in HR data for expense mapping has saved us a lot of back-and-forth, and the AP tool basically runs itself. Less friction, fewer errors, and a faster close every month. Having  frequently used Dual entry for every day finance and accounting tasks,  I would recommend it for every organization irrespective of the industry.The software is 100% user-friendly and requires no training for the user,even someone without a deep accounting background can understand the tool easily.  Implementation is straightforward with no complicated setup.

Being cloud based,one can access from anywhere,which is convenient for remote work and collaboration.  It also covers essential accounting features with an organized design and layout making it easy to access core functions. let's not forget the real time update it provides, the dashboard overview is awesome and impressive.

In the course of using DualEntry accounting software, I have come to observe some key features that seem to be missing such as lack of reference details in JE for easy tracking,No icon to easily switch between different screens, no quick option to create new customer from the dropdown when creating invoice,tax code flexibility missing,check management needs improvements,reconciliation matching,allocation feature gaps,no quick option to dispose a fixed asset from the asset overview screen. What I like is that it really does have everything in one place. Feels fast and straightforward to use. I don’t have to go hunting through other tools to find what I need. Support’s been quick when I’ve reached out, which is a plus. We added multiple users without a problem, and migration of our old files was smoother than I expected. What I like most about DualEntry is how much easier it makes reconciliation. As a finance lead handling multiple accounts, I used to spend a lot of time on manual reconciliation, and errors were hard to avoid. With DualEntry, transactions are matched automatically and any discrepancies are clearly highlighted, which saves me hours at month-end and improves the accuracy of our reports. DualEntry has saved me a lot of time, but I think it could be even better with more built-in tips or keyboard shortcuts for frequent tasks. The platform is already intuitive, but adding a few in-app prompts or shortcuts would really take the user experience up a notch, especially for finance teams working under tight deadlines. I showed my older coworker and she’s not an acountant. She thought it was gonna be hard but it was simple. She learned it fast.
