What do you like best about Customer.io?

It ticks all our base needs smoothly, like:

1. Welcome emails for new users flow smoothly

2. Campaign-based drip emails for new users

3. Trigger-based emails based on in-product actions

4. Removing dead emails, spam-flaggers, and bounce recipients is very quick and easy with their filters and bulk actions

5. Having many different mailing lists that are manageable from a user-facing subscription center is so good

My engineering team never complains about setting stuff up to sync our product and Customer.io, which for me is like the most important thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Sometimes segmentation logic can be frustratingly complex (particularly just a simple "date created" filter). I also wish Stripe's integration was easier to use rather than being a DIY webhook solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

With a recent change, being able to find sent emails has become critical for me. I have used Customer.io multiple times daily for the past month and I am eternally grateful that it is so easy to use. What do you dislike about Customer.io?

If there was a way to set a default for report time period, that would save me a click or two but I haven't figured out if that's available to me as a personal setting. What do you like best about Customer.io?

With CustomerIO, it's been super simple for us to set up in-app messages and really personalise the messaging to our specific set of users. Really cuts down engineering time that is better utilised in development of core feature. The support from their team has been pro-active whenever we've run into issues. What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Setting up an in-app around our style guide takes some time (e.g. our buttons have very specific colour rules etc.), it would be great if we could set up two or three standard templates to start off with, like for tooltip, pop-up, and slide-out in-apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The rapid advancement of AI presents both opportunities and challenges for Customer.io if they really striving for seamless digital integration of AI. More automation will amplify the ability to deliver campaigns, the objective should always be real-time customer journey management in the most cost efficient (in terms of labour required on CRM works) and effectiveness of the campaigns and the impact on customer journey. What do you dislike about Customer.io?

Automation of the campaigns, automatic translation to multiple languages, it will significantly improve the value of the product. An agentic AI engine should be integrated ASAP. I use Customer.io daily to send bulk emails and run targeted campaigns. It’s easy to use, simple to implement, and integrates well with other tools. The platform has a bit of a learning curve at the start, especially when setting up advanced workflows. Pricing can also feel high for smaller businesses as the contact list grows. What do you like best about Customer.io?

Integrations. Using zapier also I can do so many things, and I have explored little of the potential yet. Secondly definitely the ability to insert events to trigger my campaigns: very useful!

I struggle a bit with linking people to segments, and not all campaigns start for me on the first go.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

Customer.io has launched new AI-related features that are very interesting and easy to use. It saves a lot of time and manual work, such as generating new segments by providing a detailed description.

Another feature that our team likes is the design studio, which is fantastic. We will use it more in the future, as we previously had Stripo.

Finally, the new layout for creating campaigns is great, and campaigns can be duplicated from other workspaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

The user experience is very intuitive and seamless. The features work as they should and the flows are designed properly. Other user engagement platform I have are not as powerful as Customer IO either because they don't have as many useful features or their features are not built optimally.

The process of creating and editing segments is very easy and campaigns are also straightforward to create and monitor.

Customer IO integrates well with other data platforms like Mixpanel and this allows me to give the impact of engagement campaigns across board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

I wish Customer IO had AppsFlyer as a source on it's integrations directory so I can pass attribution data like campaign name or source from AppsFlyer to segment users and personalize workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Customer.io?

The platform it's really complete and easy to use. They have tons of integrations and let's us to integrate easily with our own datalake, enabling us to rapidly start our campaigns with e-mail and WhatsApp. The Customer Support is also a big differentiator. Even tho we use in the Essentials plan, the support is fast and they solve all our problems. And, if it is a software-side, they actually fix and update it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Customer.io?

I'd love to see a option to bulk edit my webhooks and to create variables with base urls or something. Because, we use a lot of webhooks for our custom Twilio integration, in tons of campaigns, but they're quite similar, so it would be handy if we had this option.
