"Confluence Review as a Project Manager"
What do you like best about Confluence?

As a Project Manager, I have been using JIRA and Confluence for 3 years now. The best thing about Confluence has to be collaborative space where the development team and clients can have access to documentations and scope prepared and more. I think this makes both us and client to collaborate and share ideas easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

I think Confluence is a bit tricky to organize for me personally. Creating many types of documents and idea sharing from both client and development team can create clutters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best collaborative documentation tool"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is very easy to use and implement. It revolves around the idea of being a wiki, which promotes users from creating and editing content on the platform. It encourages users to work collaboratively, and being open, but does have all the permission and security control one would need.

There is also a very active community with 3rd party apps to add additional features and functionalities to the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Confluence, especially the Confluence Cloud, can be difficult to customize its look and feel. If you want to make Confluence look like something other than a documentation platform, you would often need to rely on 3rd party apps to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Extremely useful within the right set-up - works best for large teams"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I like that it becomes a single repository for all our documentation and that there can be collaborative editing of content. I also like to the connection to JIRA to allow a smooth transition between managing flow and understanding context. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

It's hard to get properly setup, with permissions etc. It actually takes quite a bit of time to work out your own workflow and THEN setup confluence/JIRa and other integrations to fit into that... out of the box... not so great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best place to store your documents"
What do you like best about Confluence?

The best thing about Confluence is how easily you can get started with writing documents.

It supports Rich Text Formatting, is easy to integrate with Slack, and you can organize your documents in a folder as well.

I have been using Confluence regularly to create documents for my team.

It is very easy to implement, and all you need is an account to log in, which will automatically enroll you in the free version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

There is nothing to dislike about Confluence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Knowledge base tool can be used by teams of any size"
What do you like best about Confluence?

The most helpful part is that centralizes all documentation and makes collaboration extremely efficient. It’s very easy to structure content using pages and spaces, and I appreciate how well it integrates with tools like Jira. For example, I can document an API, link it to related tickets, and even track the progress of feature development all in one place. The version history, inline comments, and permission control also make it ideal for both knowledge sharing and process transparency within engineering teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

There are nothing about confluence which i dislike . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Workspace for Project and Team Management"
What do you like best about Confluence?

It brings all our team documentation, meeting notes, and project plans into one centralized, organized space. The real-time collaboration features, like inline comments and version history, make it easy to work together without losing track of changes.

The integration with Jira is also a big plus — it helps us link technical documentation with actual development tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

What I dislike about Confluence is that sometimes the editor can feel a bit clunky — especially when working with complex tables or formatting large pages.

When Confluence releases a new version, need to update features documentation according to reflect the changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient documentation and team collaboration tool"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence makes team collaboration and documentation seamless. Its integration with Jira is incredibly helpful for project tracking, and the rich editing features make it easy to create detailed pages, meeting notes, and internal wikis. The search function is also powerful, making it simple to find past content. It's a great tool for centralizing information and keeping everyone aligned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Sometimes, the interface can feel cluttered, especially for new users. Page organization and navigation require a learning curve, and permissions management can be a bit confusing. Also, performance slows down when handling large documents with many embedded elements or macros. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Reliable Knowledge Hub with Room to Grow"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence is a fantastic platform for centralized documentation and team collaboration. It’s highly structured yet flexible, making it ideal for both technical and non-technical teams. I particularly appreciate the page hierarchy, templates, and tight integration with other Atlassian tools like Jira. The ability to collaboratively edit pages and leave inline comments improves team communication and keeps documentation living and relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

The search functionality can feel underpowered in large workspaces, and permissions management—especially for nested pages—can get confusing. Also, the editor, while improved over time, still lacks the polish and performance of some modern alternatives. Pricing can also become a concern for growing teams or startups. "An essential tool for team collaboration and structured documentation"
What do you like best about Confluence?

Confluence has become a core part of our workflow for organizing knowledge and documentation across teams. Its seamless integration with Jira makes it perfect for agile teams, allowing us to link documentation directly to development tasks. I love the ability to create structured pages, apply templates, and collaborate in real-time with comments and editing. The version history is a life-saver, and its search functionality helps quickly find past content, even in large knowledge bases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Sometimes the page editor can feel a bit laggy, especially with larger documents. Also, permission management can be confusing when working with multiple teams or departments. It would be great to see more intuitive user role handling and better offline access options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Confluence: Source of Documentation"
What do you like best about Confluence?

I like it because we can have a single page where we store all the manuals and documentation for projects and implementations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Confluence?

Sometimes I feel that editing is not as intuitive as on other platforms, especially when I want to insert tables or more customized things. I've also had situations where some changes are lost if two people edit at the same time, although it happens rarely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
