As a Project Manager, I have been using JIRA and Confluence for 3 years now. The best thing about Confluence has to be collaborative space where the development team and clients can have access to documentations and scope prepared and more. Confluence is very easy to use and implement. It revolves around the idea of being a wiki, which promotes users from creating and editing content on the platform. It encourages users to work collaboratively, and being open, but does have all the permission and security control one would need.

The best thing about Confluence is how easily you can get started with writing documents.

It supports Rich Text Formatting, is easy to integrate with Slack, and you can organize your documents in a folder as well.
