"Challenging Implementation but Centralized Benefits"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I appreciate having everything in one place with NetSuite, which enhances efficiency. The safe searches feature is particularly valuable as it streamlines data handling and retrieval, giving us better control over our data and products, which is crucial for our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I found the implementation process with NetSuite extremely challenging. The implementation team did not guide us effectively and seemed to lack understanding, especially in the manufacturing domain. Additionally, navigating through NetSuite is cumbersome due to too many nested menus that complicate the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"NetSuite Elevated Our Workflow—Here’s How"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I like best about NetSuite is how everything’s in one place. It’s super helpful having finance, inventory, and CRM all connected—it saves a ton of time jumping between systems. I also really appreciate how customizable it is. We’ve been able to tweak dashboards and workflows to fit exactly how our team operates, which makes day-to-day tasks smoother. Once you get the hang of it, it really helps keep things organized and moving efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The steep learning curve in NetSuite is what I find most annoying. Although it's powerful, it can take some time to learn how to use some of the functions, especially the more sophisticated ones. Some procedures seem too complex, and in order to get everything set up correctly, you frequently need technical assistance or a consultant. Additionally, the price can go up rapidly, particularly if you require third-party integrations or customizations. Once it's dialed in, it functions well, but getting there isn't always easy. "Flexible and Fast, But Data Loading Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I appreciate the flexibility and ease of use of NetSuite, which allows it to be quickly implemented. I definitely like the knowledge base tool for finding solutions or guides even without extensive training. The ability for clients to sunset older systems and become nimble with more options and flexibility is invaluable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Loading data into NetSuite was challenging, especially when working with business users to align the data with the chart of accounts. This process took about two to four weeks to complete successfully. Additionally, it would be beneficial if there were a more guided way to load data into the system, making the process easier for all users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and customizable"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

When we switched to NetSuite 3 years ago we were abke to automate many of our monthly entries and tasks. Our IT team and consultants have created many workflows and custom segments that are custom tailored to our many subsidiaries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The user interface in some of the native Netsuite modules could use improvement, especially in the fixed asset module. The overall process could be more streamlined. Creating journal entries within the FAM is time-consuming, and after running the module, the entries do not appear on the screen as expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best choice for serious businesses"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

Netsuite's core functionality is so well structured that it is very easy to integrate a multitude of platforms and tie ins to support the custom needs of your business. The implied processes are also very sound and well thought out. It's my belief that Netsuite is the best option on the market for any serious business looking to automate processes and increase efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

No major dislikes. There are small items that are annoying at times but generally easy to work around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Customization but Reporting Needs Simplification"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I appreciate NetSuite's wide array of additional features for diverse functionality, allowing us to choose tools that fit our needs. The customization capabilities of NetSuite are incredibly helpful. Its ability to address scaling issues effectively makes it a useful ERP system for our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I faced challenges with the implementation of NetSuite as it was a new system for us. While the transition was ultimately made easier by working with a reputable integration partner, the initial process was tough. Additionally, I find that building reports could be simplified to improve the user experience further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Tool That Grows With You"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

The best thing about NetSuite is the real-time integration across departments - from our production to inventory to finance. Having a single source of truth makes it easier to track the full product lifecycle, from raw materials to finished goods to customer delivery. Another major plus is that NetSuite is highly customizable allowing us to tailor our processes to fit our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The biggest drawback of having a big system is its complexity for users without proper training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"NetSuite Review from the point of view of an implementation consultant"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like NetSuite for being a very robust ERP solution for small to medium-sized companies. It offers a full suite of modules and solutions supporting businesses from different industries with different business processes and requirements. It also support integrations with many other popular third-party softwares or solutions. I also found NetSuite having a pretty decent UI. NetSuite also has a very responsive customer support team that can help answer your questions or troubleshoot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

Navigations can be frustrating in NetSuite, being not intuitive enough. It is also uneasy to identify a specific fields because there can be many fields that share very similar names and you cannot easily distinguish in the UI, such as on reports and forms. Finding out and locating the right fields to use can be time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Netsuite has useful capabilities but could be easier on reporting side"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I like most about the Netsuite ERP is that linking and navigating between linked transactions like sales orders, invoices, payments, customer record, revenue arrangement, etc. makes it easy to move around the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I would want to see the ease of adjusting reports to be improved. When trying to add fields to a report it is very difficult to locate the related field we want because names repeat, are not showing, or even naming conventions change. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Long-Term Relationship with NetSuite since 2014"
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I have been working with NetSuite for over 11 years. I enjoy that they seem to be updating the product and features continuously. Sometimes this creates a few hiccups, but overall they seem very prepared to take their customers with them as they modernize. I enjoy the ability to control so many aspects of my accounting system and the depths of their reporting capacity. The representatives we've worked with over the years have always been incredibly responsive so I believe you get what you pay for with this product. We use it every day and across office locations with ease. I was not there when we implemented NetSuite, but from what I know it was very easy. We have integrated several features on the years and it was always fairly seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

As I mentioned about updates, sometimes it can cause minor disruptions and it can happen quickly. When they deprecated 1099s that was a little stressful because we found out right before year end. However, in the end it was worth it because the program we got was even better. Just painful in the transition period. Also, there are some areas where I think the reporting and processes were built by IT professionals and not accountants. I'm sure they're tired of hearing that, since us accountants can appear to be giant complainers. The reporting is so complex that sometimes it's hard to know what format to start with when you want to do something. Also, we ran into an issue where two features combined do not give us the result promised (income statement with all active accounts, including zero balances but not inactive accounts). We have been through their service desk and no one seems to understand why it doesn't produce that right information and keeps including inactive accounts in the final report. Lastly, support is incredibly helpful but be prepared to deal with time zone issues and potentially timing issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
