What do you like best about Klaviyo?

The software allows you to create dynamic and complex email flows and campaigns. With enough attention given to your strategy, you can create a cross-selling machine based on customer activity. What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

There are 2 things that I find frustrating. 1) Understanding the software to maximize it to the full potential it has requires a ton of knowledge of how the systems are connected to your marketing ecosystem. Understanding how flows work and how they connect to each other takes a lot of time or money to hire it out. In my company, I have a full-time staff member who uses about 50% of her time to manage the building/understanding process. Once built up, it will be easier to maintain and be a revenue generator. As a non-marketing person, I dislike how hard it is but understand but I get how necessary the complexity is. 2) When using other apps that integrate into Klaviyo I often have to pay massive premiums to have API connections. I already pay for Klaviyo and the other app in their premium tiers, it makes me feel nicked and dimed for something I already pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

The UX is perfect for productivity. You'll find everything you need in one or two clicks. I work with several tools integrated to Shopify and in some you need several clicks to get what you need. That doesn't happen with Klaviyo. I always know where I'm at, can jump easily from section to section. Also, the level of customization you can do for emails and flows is something I haven't seen on any other platform. I think it's because all the native integrations they have. Customer support always reply back to my tickets in a timely manner and usually they have good answers and solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

It is very VERY annoying that loading a segment takes that long. There are other platforms much less powerful in customization like Omnisend that load a segment in less than a second. Klaviyo takes minutes and we don't even have a database that big. Also, there are unexpected glitches here and there that are gone before you report them but in the meantime they slow you down. Like when exporting a list or segment the list of properties overlaped each other making it impossible to click on them. The thing is, even with all the bad I wouldn't choose any other platform for ecommerce. Klaviyo is the perfect fit but it's not perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

What stands out for me is how naturally Klaviyo fits into my workflow. I work closely with DSPs and SSPs in demand management, so I’m used to interpreting user behavior at a granular level. Klaviyo lets me act on that knowledge directly. I can segment users based on intent, set up flows that react to their actions, and personalize communication without extra layers of manual effort.

The ability to preview creatives, test different versions, and track performance in real-time is a huge win. It takes the ideas I have from working with media platforms and lets me apply them quickly to retention and engagement.

Automation is solid too. I’ve set up flows for everything from onboarding to re-engagement and can easily tweak them based on performance. It feels like I’m running lean, effective campaigns without needing a full team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

The reporting feels a bit shallow. It covers the basics like opens, clicks, and attributed revenue, but as someone who works closely with performance data, I often need deeper insights. It lacks flexibility when it comes to comparing user behavior across segments or running detailed breakdowns over time.

Flow logic can also be limiting in some cases. For standard use, it’s great. But if you want to build more advanced conditions or experiments, you’ll probably run into a few constraints unless you find workarounds.

One more thing is the initial learning curve. It’s not overly complex and easy to implement, but if you don’t understand how lists, segments, and flows interact early on, it’s easy to create clutter and confusion in your account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Klaviyo offers advanced segmentation and automation tools that make it easy to deliver personalized campaigns. I really value how user-friendly the platform is compared to other marketing automation tools, and the integration with e-commerce platforms like Shopify and WooCommerce is seamless. What do you like best about Klaviyo?

Analytics capabilities. It allows us to deep dive into the strength as well as areas of improvement to help us understand what needs to done right. It's super easy to use as well as the drag and drop feature to create campaigns is awesome.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

I think it's easy to use and makes our marketing very effective and efficient. I really appreciate the attention they give to the security of your account, too. Also, it's easy to use their inbox and respond to cx right then and there. Also had 2-3 experiences with the support, and they are also supportive and fast.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

When trying to log-in and you have 2FA turned on, it will ask you to put in your account and then you got to a screen that is to confirm your number to send the OTP, now you have to click and then it will send you the SMS with our code.

What do you like best about Klaviyo?

creating email templates is very easy and we can segment our profiles easily, customer support is also decent and we can send template emails to alot of users at once which helps in marketing. Klaviyo has everything, its easy to use once you know what you're doing. Implementation is easy but takes time because of the automation, and the customer support is amazing and so patient even with technophobic owners at the company. It made email marketing a breeze. It can be expensive as your list grows, so it's worth closely monitoring performance to ensure ROI. When building segments, the ability to create based on a calendar date isn't available yet, this would help us improve some customer journeys to ensure we are speaking to customers at the right time. What do you like best about Klaviyo?

This platform is very user-firendly, mostly everything is out of the box which is a big win for small teams with limited dev support. There are so many things I can quickly and efficiently do with it for campaigns, flows and segmentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Klaviyo?

The trade-off of being easy to use and out of the box, is that you loose out on being able to tailor to your exact needs. I will also say that so many of the features are ALMOST there, but not quite.
