"Keeps Teams Connected and Productive"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack makes team communication incredibly easy and efficient. The interface is intuitive, and channels help keep conversations organized by topic or project. I really like the integrations, we use it with tools like Azure and Datadog, and the notifications flow directly into the right channels, which helps us stay on top of incidents and updates in real time. File sharing, message history, and the ability to start quick huddles or calls directly within Slack make collaboration seamless. It’s also great that user management and permissions are straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

Notifications can sometimes feel overwhelming if channels and mentions aren’t managed carefully. When multiple integrations, alerts, and team conversations happen at the same time, it can be hard to focus or keep track of what’s most important. It takes some discipline and good channel organization to avoid notification overload. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup and Seamless Team Collaboration with Slack"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is easy to implement and can install and run the program in less than 30 minutes, opening and using it from computer or phone is possible for on-the-go work. Daily communication for daily work discussion, buzzing team using @mention tools and exchanging and transfer project data from Google Drive integration make it a perfect choice for project management. Another good things with Adobe is their customer support effectiveness in solving our issues with access denied problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

I found no issues with Slack. We use it as our main communicator and pretty satisfied with all the result and happy with how easy to implement it for work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Team Collaboration, But Desktop App Needs Improvement"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is the best team project management tool I have used, allowing me to manage multiple projects and teams within a single app. It works seamlessly across different devices, and I can communicate without confusion—whether chatting privately or creating various groups. Collaborating with team members is efficient, even when we are not physically together, which makes Slack extremely valuable for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The desktop application does not function properly. While it works better on the web, it still requires frequent reloading, which is quite frustrating. There should be a dedicated Ubuntu system application that does not log out repeatedly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Keeps Teams Connected and Organized, But Notifications Can Be Distracting"
What do you like best about Slack?

i love Slack because it keeps our entire team connected in one place. we use different channel for projects, model deployment updates and data alerts. it keeps everything organized, the integration are amazing . i have connected slack with GitHub , Jira and even our ML pipeline notification. whenever a model training job finishes or fails. I get alerts directly in slack, the search features is also very handy to find past discussions or shared file quickly . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

it works really well without any problem but yeah sometimes too many messages and notification can be distracting, whenever i get busy in coding or debugging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GREAT: Communication with Slack"
What do you like best about Slack?

What I appreciate most about Slack is its intuitive and user-friendly design, which makes team communication both seamless and well-organized. Whether it's sending quick messages or engaging in detailed project discussions, everything is conveniently centralized and easy to locate. The setup process is straightforward, and it integrates smoothly with the tools we already rely on, such as Google Drive, Zoom, and Trello. With features like channels, threads, file sharing, and various integrations, Slack goes beyond being just a messaging app—it truly serves as a comprehensive collaboration platform. We use it every day, and it has helped us cut down on unnecessary emails while ensuring everyone stays informed. Overall, Slack has made a noticeable difference in our team's productivity and coordination. Slack’s customer support is responsive, helpful, and easy to access. Whether you’re dealing with a technical issue or just need help navigating a feature, their support team is quick to respond and provides clear, actionable solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

One downside of Slack is that conversations can quickly become overwhelming, especially in busy channels with a lot of activity. Important messages can easily get buried, making it hard to keep track of key information without constant checking. While threads help somewhat, they can be confusing to follow if many people are replying at once. Notifications can also become distracting if not managed properly, and it takes some effort to fine-tune settings for a better experience. Additionally, the free version has limitations, such as restricted message history and limited integration options, which can be frustrating for smaller teams. "Slack: The Ultimate Hub for Effortless Team Collaboration"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack makes team collaboration effortless. It’s incredibly easy to create dedicated team space both public and private and organize conversations around projects or topics. The ability to integrate workflows and external communication into one place means we can keep almost everything in Slack. It’s become our central hub for updates, discussions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

At times, the volume of messages can feel overwhelming, especially in larger teams or active channels. Important updates can easily get buried in the conversation flow. While the search feature helps, it could be more intuitive and context-aware. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Teamwork with Slack, but Missing Read Receipts"
What do you like best about Slack?

I love how effortlessly it brings team communication and collaboration together in one place. The clean, intuitive interface makes it easy to organize conversations through channels, and the realtime messaging keeps everyone aligned without endless email threads. I especially appreciate how seamlessly it integrates with tools like Google Drive, and other apps. The search function is also excellent, helping me quickly find past messages or files. Overall, Slack makes teamwork faster, more transparent, and much more enjoyable. We use it frequently and it almost completed all of out requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

One thing I dislike is the lack of read receipts. It can sometimes be hard to know whether a message has been seen, especially in one-on-one chats or important discussions. Having a simple “read” indicator would make communication even smoother and help reduce follow-ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Slack's User-Friendly Interface and Seamless Integrations Stand Out"
What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is user friendly and can integrate with other tools like hibob, confluence and other third party tools and thus you get notifications faster and easier. It's UI /UX is much better than MS Teams Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The only downside is that it is not par with teams when it comes to scheduling calls with the clients. I hope they can work on it sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
